We stayed at this rental this past Christmas and here are our thoughts. If what you are looking for is a high end extra luxury accommodation than this rental is not for you. If on the other hand, you want to experience Puerto Rico like it is meant to be experienced, this is the prefect rental. I has everything you NEED, we were a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 childrens ages 9 to 6, there is enough room for everyone. The rental is clean and well maintained. The owner (Kelley) was awesome, when our flight out was delayed/cancelled she offered to extend our stay, although in the end we did not require it we were glad we had a back-up plan. Finally, we had our choice of rentals, and we are the type do to alot of research beforehand. What sold us on this rental was the location. It is a stone throw away from the Ocean, and I mean it, it literally across the street, it is a rocky beach but that leaves plenty of room for tide pools which the kids loved. It's 45 minutes from Aguadilla Airport. The rental is 5 minutes car ride to groceries. If you are there on dec 28th take some time and go see the Mask Festival, it is a half day long event with vibrant colors and a parade, you won't want to miss it. As a side note, Hatillo is not a bustling metropolis, so brush up on your spanish as the locals mostly do not speak english (however we both did not speak spanish other than a few key phrases and we still were able to get by). Believe me, if you go with this rental you won't want to leave, we didn't !

Loved Casa Glad!

5 of 5
We stayed at Casa Glad during a long weekend in March as we planned a family reunion with our relatives in the island. Our reunion at the home was a complete success and everyone had a grand time. The home is located in a very private and amazing location overlooking the Atlantic. The home was amazingly well-appointed with anything and everything you could possibly need including boogie boards, fishing poles, games, music, movies, wine glasses and frozen beer mugs, which my husband loved! The beach itself was great for walking, shelling, boogie boarding and fishing. It felt very secluded and safe as we we often the only ones walking on the beach. We had a heat time and hope to be back soon! Thank you Joy!
