What you see is what you get!! : )

5 of 5
Davids place was on point!! Very clean, and has all the amenities you need for your stay. The surrounding property was very secure and clean. As for David himself, we'll I already consider him Family!! : ) the guy was great! Always a phone call away. I'm definitely coming back!!! Already recommend to a couple of friends and they already booked lol. The surrounding area has every thing you need, Walmart, Walgreens, Super Market, Theater ect.. As for places to eat? You name it you got it... word of advice! Use goggle maps for your gps... life saver..

Balcony Heaven!

5 of 5
This was our 1st trip to PR; my husband and I had a glorious 9 days. The apt. was 1st rate, near sights, the ferry, and everything we needed. It is in the only building in the Penamar complex with a direct view of the ocean. The stunning view from the balcony, accurately represented in the photos, looks straight out to Culebra in the distance and there was usually a cool breeze from the trade winds. We really enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and, although there is no beach in the immediate vicinity, we could hear the surf from the apartment in the quiet of the night. The apt. is on the 2d floor and very accessible to the parking spaces, which are two tandem spaces, so it is easy to get to the apartment without taking the elevator. Luis "Tony" was very responsive and easy to deal with. There was a little confusion on our arrival because we arrived late at night and only had Luis' daytime contact information. For later arrivals, we would recommend making sure to have all phone numbers and emails and a plan for how to get keys. The security person contacted the owner when we arrived and he sent someone right over to let us in, give us keys and offer some pointers about the apartment. We never had to wait for the security person to enter the complex. The apt was clean and well stocked with folding chairs, beach chairs, coolers, towels, tennis rackets and balls, kids' toys. The owner told us there were only a few starter supplies, but the apt. actually had many condiments, including olive oil & balsamic vinegar, paper goods such as towel paper, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries such as suntan lotion and moisturizers. Some of these items appear to have been left by prior tenants so what is there might be different over time. We recommend checking the supplies before grocery shopping; there is a Walmart in Fajardo, which is open 24/7, so it is very easy to pick up what you need regardless of when you arrive. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable; didn't use the other 2 bedrooms. The apt is nicely furnished, with a gorgeous comfortable sectional couch. The table in the eating area is bar height. We would have preferred a lower table, but we got used to it by the end of our stay. Favorite beach-Seven Seas-5 minutes away. Fav restaurant-Ole Lelolai up the street. Always felt safe and very comfortable. All complex amenities excellent and uncrowded. We can't wait to return. Thanks, Tony!!!

Wondefull condo for our Puerto Rico vacation

5 of 5
First of all we want to thank you for a wonderful place to stay. It met all of our needs for the week, was neat and clean, well maintained, had a table large enough for all 8 of us to share a meal. Air conditioning worked well all week. The pool was fantastic for cooling down and Seven Seas beach was wonderful. The weather was perfect. High 80’s and sunny during the day, cooling off nicely in the evening. we only had brief sprinkles 2 times during the week. Buena Suerte maybe? (we got to put our Spanish to good use.) We went to El Yunque twice, hiking to several water falls, the tower on the way to the peak. Took the Angel trail and spent time jumping into the river from the rope swing. Went to Humacao park, spent a day in Old San Juan, went Scuba diving and snorkeling, and ate at many wonderful restaurants. The Bio bay kayak trip with Island adventure tours was an incredible experience I’d recommend for all your guests. Price after tax and park fee was $51 PP. Went to Mass at an AWESOME little Catholic church on hwy 3 near Luquillo. Even though mass was in Spanish we understood enough of it to get by. At the end of mass we were “called out” as visitors and said we were from Chicago. This turned out to be an incredible thing as Father then went on to say he had been in Chicago the week before and had completed the Chicago marathon. He was so proud of his accomplishment he actually pulled out his medal and showed it gleefully to the congregation as he talked about his experience there. Connected us all in a way. We really enjoyed the Blue Iguana restaurant at the Fajardo Inn. We actually went there 2 nights in a row. They offered a daily special all 7 days of the week. The food is quite reasonably priced compared to several restaurants we ate at and was VERY good quality with huge portions. Dinner at Don Pepe’s across from El Yunque was great, as was dinner at Costa Mia. Dinner at La Estacion was incredible but very expensive. It was our treat to ourselves for the week. We shopped at both Econo and Ralph’s groceries. Found the best price on Rum at the cash and carry store on Avenida Valero. The bakaria on El Conquistador was wonderful. 16 pastries for only $12. Verizon cell phone service worked without roaming. One thing that should be arranged for is a good map of the island. the Rental car map was not sufficient.
