WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY!!!!!

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed for 10 wonderful days. Ilka & Ramon was very helpful and trustworthy. The Villa is exactly what you see in the pictures. The Villa was clean & well maintained with full kitchen, dinning room and with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable & rooms with A/C. The place was very quite , we felt secure and safe with security 24/7. The location is great! Near a shopping center, CVS, Walgreen, Super Max grocery store, also few fast food restaurants. Near the Embassy Suites, sad that they closed there casino, we were able to enjoy there last day. We made the commitment to walk the beach each morning with the sunrise (7:00am) it's was priceless!!!! We took the most beautiful pictures even with rainbow. The beach is beautiful, clear & with calm warm waters. We had the key's to the private beach & to the pool. We did lots of travelling, took the ferry from Catano to San Juan, visited the El Morro, Also we did the Bacardi Tour. Recommended to eat breakfast at El Meson en Bayamon. Good spanish food at Guavate/Cayey, but the best is "La Vaca Brava in the Old San Juan!!! Thank you Ilka & Ramon for letting us stay in your beautiful villa! Will love stay at you're place on our next vacation!!

Lovely, simply lovely!

5 of 5
We had a delightful stay at this property. As three women traveling together, the gated community was very important to us; we felt safe and secure in our home and on the adjacent beach. The view from the patio is just as gorgeous as pictured, and the secluded (not private) beach is steps away. The house was perfect for our needs, it's not a resort, but it's clean, cozy, and the location absolutely cannot be beat. We did have a rainy day and did not experience the leaks mentioned by other reviewers, so this must have been corrected. Mari and Manolo were wonderful hosts, checking in just enough that we knew they were available, but not so much as to be obtrusive. We almost booked a rental that was further inland, rationalizing that we would be at the beach most of the time and wouldn’t be in the house anyway, but I’m SO glad we rented the Dorado Beach House, having the ocean right out the back door (you’re up a little and it’s not a swimming beach, so no people are looking in your back door) and the secluded beach just steps away really made this a vacation to remember. If you’re on the fence, I can only tell you to book it, you won’t be sorry! Tips *We used the Dorado Starbucks in our GPS as the end point, it's easy to navigate back to the house from there and Siri always found it. *Use the Catano ferry if you're going into Old Town, it's cheap, easy to park, and you get a great view of the city from the water. Plus the free trolley stops right outside. *Check out the Ruta de Lechon, it's a drive, but you get to see the mountainous part of the island, and the food is to die for! *Buy some Yaucono coffee at CVS on the cheap, we had some every morning on the patio and took some home for souvenirs. Add a little sweetened condensed milk (poor man's dulce de leche!) and it's perfection.

Beautiful & Comfortable by the beach amazing patio

5 of 5
We had such a great time- I came with my wife and son who was recovering from some medical issues and Villa Gardenia was all that it said it would be. Ground floor entry- spacious- comfy beds- stocked up kitchen- beach towels- wifi access. Alex met us upon arrival and made us feel at home- we had some questions how to operate the AC and he was there in minutes to show us how to set the thermostat. Amazing location- was a quick minute stroll to the beach and a minute to the main pool and clubhouse. The community was beautifully maintained and peaceful- we always felts secure in the gated communty with security 24/7. We had two parking spaces reserved for us (only needed one) and loved that we could just walk out to the beach and head over to the Hyatt resort and use the beach and bar/ restaurant there anytime. Also fantastic restaurants nearby in Dorado. Can't wait to go back- maybe stay at one of the larger villas in the community that sleep ten with our extended family. Really Paradise!! Thanks Alma and Alex. ANW- Massachusetts
