A wonderful, peaceful place...

5 of 5
It seems like the perfect time to write this review, one we've been meaning to do for some time. Why the perfect time? I type as I sit on the balcony of this lovely little cabin way up the hill, looking out at the sailboats passing by, watching raptors fly below, and listen to the skittering of tiny beautiful lizards. This is our third stay here, and we continue to love it. The views are lovely, and the entire structure is a piece of art built with attention and pure vision. The outdoor shower is a wonderful place to end a long day of sun and snorkeling, the kitchenette is a perfect size for simple meals, and the night breezes provide some of the best sleeping conditions possible. An additional plus is the spot-on WiFi service, something new to this trip (we often had trouble connecting before, but now it could not be better). Lynette is prompt with both emails and texts, and overall has been really great to deal with during our repeated visits. Book this place (except for when we want to come back, of course)!

Perfect Getaway

5 of 5
The house was very beautiful and peaceful! It provided with numerous amounts of hammocks, and a variety of seats and swings to simply relax and enjoy the beach breeze. The house was right next to Melones beach, which is excellent for snorkeling. Moreover, if you love star gazing, going down to the beach at night gives you a wonderful front seat view of the starry sky. The town was a 10 minute walk away from the house, and a 10 minute drive away from both Flamenco and Tamarindo beach. The house was supplied with all the necessary amenities you could need. Towels and bed sheets were provided for our stay as well as a fully equipped kitchen, which allowed for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the owner was very kind, hospitable and always available for anything we needed. We are definitively booking here again!

We loved our time at the Naniqui Cottages

5 of 5
This was exactly what we were looking for. Simple, well kept, very clean and great location. You will hear the planes taking off but it did not bother us at all. We were in cottage 3 closest to the back deck on the water. We had breakfast and/or lunch nearly every day out there on the deck and almost always a nightcap each evening. There is usually a nice breeze off the water and there are two fans inside if needed. Tochi is full of great information about the island and very hospitable and attentive. I would not recommend renting a jeep as there is not much room for it. It can be done but we had a golf cart and that was perfect. Bring bug repellent as the mosquitoes will be around and do get inside the cottages. All around great value and a wonderful little place to stay when you visit Culebra. We will be back for sure to stay at Naniqui. Thanks Tochi!
