                  AWESOMENESS!!

                  5 of 5
My husband and I had a fabulous time. This vacation was the best and most relaxing vacation we have ever had. I can't wait to go back and rent one of the larger properties. Check-in: Was smooth. Recommendation: Go directly to the Carlos Jeep main office (if coming from the airport). Do not wait at the airport counter. Room: The pics do not do this rental justice. Feels like a hotel suite with a private entrance. It is equipped with high quality details from the awesome thick memory foam mattress to the rainfall shower head, and the Wamsutta towels and silky soft high tc sheets. The views from the room balcony are so peaceful and relaxing. Though there are other rentals nearby, you still have a sense of privacy. (BYOT=Bring your own toiletries). Culebra Island Experience: Wake up in the morning to nature at it's finest. I got to hang out on the hamac on the balcony, and enjoy my morning listening to the birds singing. Be forewarned to bring insect spray and sunblock. We checked out Flamenco Beach, Zoni Beach and Melones Beach. Flamenco and Zoni are the most popular. At Flamenco you can explore and also see 2 (out of 5) old military tanks there. Zoni is a nice place to avoid the crowds and see the sea turtle preservations along the beach. Melones Beach is not for sunbathing. It is a quiet beach where you can picnic and read a book by the water or play a few games of dominoes. Take a drive up the hills by Melones and you will see some spectular views and beautiful homes. Places to eat: Our favorite restaurant on the island is Dinghy Dock. Good eats and good service. At night the vibe is upbeat and yet still relaxing. Expect a wait at dinner time. A couple of other places to check out are El Eden and Mamacitas. But for cheap eats, we highly recommend kiosk #5 at Flamenco Beach; must try the Chapin fish empanadas. Recommendations: Should rent a vehicle. The hill where the rental is located is a steep one. We rented a golf cart; feels like you're going down a roller coaster, and you feel the bumps on the road when traveling around. If that's not your thing, rent a jeep. Don't advise on the scooters for this property. Gas up your vehicle the night before leaving. The long line in the morning is least to be desired and run the chance of the gas station running out of gas. Almost happened to us. Enjoy!

                  ROMANTIC GETAWAY

                  4 of 5
View to die for. Loved the outdoor shower and the woodwork on the deck! Extremely private. Lynette was very nice and was always available, when needed. P.S. -- No gas grill or AC for this property.

A HONEYMOON WE'LL KEEP REMINISCING ABOUT FOREVER.

                  5 of 5
My wife and I got married in August, and we knew right away that we wanted to find somewhere tropical and secluded. After several internet searches, and a lot of deliberation, we settled on Puerto Rico, and then Culebra, and then Casa Yaboa's Tree Nest. From the very beginning, it was just better than we could have ever imagined. Jacinto, the owner, was very good to us. He picked us up at the ferry in his Jeep and brought us to a Jeep/golf cart rental place. At first, just looking at the mileage, we foolishly thought we might be able to walk or bike the whole week. But at Jacinto's discretion, we got a golf cart, and we definitely needed it! Casa Yaboa is a fairly long, but extremely pleasant drive from the town and dock. And we enjoyed making the drive every day. Every day we found something to explore, whether it was the world-famous Flamenco Beach, our own private Playa Brava, the extremely close-by Zoni Beach, the charming little museum that tells the island's history, or the little bay we could watch from the Tree Nest. The house was everything we needed. We loved the outdoor shower and deck space. You really feel high up in the trees, and nothing in this world beats falling asleep and waking up to the gentle sounds of the Caribbean waves... It was extremely private and secluded. Sometimes, on our deck, we felt like we were the only ones on the island. If privacy is your thing- make sure to check out Zoni Beach. Oftentimes, we were the only ones in sight. But Playa Brava is the real gem. Ask around about how to hike through the jungle for your own personal tropical paradise. We loved the town too. Putting around in our little golf cart at night was the perfect way to spend the evenings. Just be aware that everything closes sort of early, so if you want to get something to eat, you'd better be on top of it or you'll have to go hungry. Speaking of eating, Jacinto's place, Susie's was great, but it was expensive. We highly recommend Zaco's Tacos, and above all else, Heather's Pizza. The pizza and atmosphere were highly unique, and something we have talked about every week since our trip. Culebra is beautiful, and the Tree Nest is the perfect place to experience it in. We'll remember it forever.
