Even better than expected

5 of 5
The top ten best things about our stay (in no particular order) 1. The breeze through the house. 2. The view from the veranda. 3. The hills, which provided great exercise on walks. 4. Proximity to Zoni Beach 5. Zoni Beach, where the water is clear and warm and the sand is pristine. 6. Snorkeling with sea turtles. 7. Snorkeling at Flamenco Beach. 8. Carissa the house manager, who was very attentive. 9. The shower in the master bathroom. 10. Tranquility.

Great stay in Paradise

4 of 5
We loved our stay in Culebra. The view from the house is outstanding and watching the sunrise and the evening shadows from the deck was a major joy. Dick the manager is a legend and was a high light of trip. The house was clean, neat, and provided everything the two of us needed for a quality stay. However, the future traveler should be aware that this house is located in a residential area on a Caribbean island. We enjoyed the "local color" of the neighborhood but we could see where others might not enjoy the cars on blocks and the nightly K-9 choir. The roosters do crow and they start at about 4:00 am. If you like to be local when you travel and yet you want clean and comfortable, then this is the place for you. Bring ear plugs and relax. Best beaches, best food, friendliest people. We will be back.

Great memories!

It was a toss up between Casa Ensenada and another location on the island. We chose Casa Ensenada and couldn't have been more pleased. Our family of 7 enjoyed everything about it....the location, the back patio and pier, and the main apartment. It was clean and everything we expected. We will stay here again IF we don't purchase a place of our own on the island first:)
