THE VIEW IS BEYOND AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 of 5
So, let me begin by saying the pictures shown on this site are pretty accurate. Usually, you go on travel sites and see pictures of the properties and the pictures have been re-touched and photo-shopped, but NOT these pictures. If anything, the view is MORE amazing in person! My bestie and I stayed here for 2 nights and could not get enough of the view every morning. The property was very clean and enough space for 2. There is NO TV and we did not have cellular service. So it was like we were on a isolated island with no idea of the going-ons of the world until we came down the hill. However, that gave us more time to hang out on the hammock, drink wine and talk. You do need a jeep or golf cart to tackle the steep hill where the property is located. I would definitely recommend the jeep! And make sure you visit the store at the bottom of the hill and stock up on food before you go up the hill because there is nowhere to shop and/or eat once you get up the hill. I also can't say enough about Carlos, the owner! (He also owns the Jeep rental place.) He is 1000% fabulous and very, very friendly. He was the first person we met once we arrived to Culebra and he set the tone for the remainder of our fabulous stay. Also, Lynette, the property owner, was more than accommodating during our stay. YOU'LL BE A FOOL NOT TO RENT THIS PLACE DURING YOUR CULEBRA STAY! *Bring bug spray

A wonderful, peaceful place...

5 of 5
It seems like the perfect time to write this review, one we've been meaning to do for some time. Why the perfect time? I type as I sit on the balcony of this lovely little cabin way up the hill, looking out at the sailboats passing by, watching raptors fly below, and listen to the skittering of tiny beautiful lizards. This is our third stay here, and we continue to love it. The views are lovely, and the entire structure is a piece of art built with attention and pure vision. The outdoor shower is a wonderful place to end a long day of sun and snorkeling, the kitchenette is a perfect size for simple meals, and the night breezes provide some of the best sleeping conditions possible. An additional plus is the spot-on WiFi service, something new to this trip (we often had trouble connecting before, but now it could not be better). Lynette is prompt with both emails and texts, and overall has been really great to deal with during our repeated visits. Book this place (except for when we want to come back, of course)!

We loved our time at the Naniqui Cottages

5 of 5
This was exactly what we were looking for. Simple, well kept, very clean and great location. You will hear the planes taking off but it did not bother us at all. We were in cottage 3 closest to the back deck on the water. We had breakfast and/or lunch nearly every day out there on the deck and almost always a nightcap each evening. There is usually a nice breeze off the water and there are two fans inside if needed. Tochi is full of great information about the island and very hospitable and attentive. I would not recommend renting a jeep as there is not much room for it. It can be done but we had a golf cart and that was perfect. Bring bug repellent as the mosquitoes will be around and do get inside the cottages. All around great value and a wonderful little place to stay when you visit Culebra. We will be back for sure to stay at Naniqui. Thanks Tochi!
