Beautiful Beach House

5 of 5
Villa Casa Maria is a beautiful spot and perfect location to explore the west coast of Puerto Rico. The house is perfect for a large group, with two levels and plenty of rooms. It is modern and fully stocked and has everything you need to stay connected or get away, wifi, a/c, two kitchens, tv and dvd etc. The roof deck is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset and look at the stars. The caretaker was very friendly and took us on a tour of the town, local beach and bakery upon arrival. He was available to answer any questions. We felt safe and comfortable during our lovely stay. This house is perfect for a family getaway to really explore the island, away from the crazy tempo of San Juan. The local beach is a close walk away and has several fun beach shacks. We also visited Playa Jobos for surfing lessons. There are also several incredible beaches near Rincon and Isabel worth exploring. We also did horseback riding in Isabel, visited the Camuy caves, hiking to a local waterfall and visited a coffee plantation. We stayed for ten days and this house was a perfect base for our Puerto Rican get away. Lovely home and island!

We LOVED this place!!!

5 of 5
Villa Tenerife is amazing. It was such a joy to wake up every morning and drink coffee in our PJs, watch the waves and feel the breeze. Because of the constant breeze, we noticed barely any mosquitoes! It was wonderful to cook dinner and eat outside on the patio with a gorgeous sunset. It was awesome. We didn't have the budget to stay in a resort and weren't interested in a condo, so this was perfect. We are also very comfortable figuring out our own activities and wanted to be in a smaller town (as opposed to in San Juan or Arecibo). We were here for two weeks with our two small children, who also spent hours with us on the patio playing with their toys or running down to the sand. True, you can't swim right in front of the house, but the swimming spot down the beach is barely a 5 minute walk, which was fine. There was also a spot just to the left where you could wade in a little, but not more than that with the kids. There are other many fantastic beaches suitable for children barely a 1/2 hr away, so we did a bit of exploring (LOVED Punta Sardinera in Isabela which has a natural pool and a long shallow sandy entry perfect for little ones!) The owners were extremely attentive to our needs and the couple minor maintenance issues were addressed immediately. Everything was just freshly painted right before we got there and all the sofa cushions seemed brand new. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and there were plenty of serving dishes and bowls and utensils. The only drawback I can think of is a bit of occasional traffic noise (after all it is a beach road and some people like to pump their music loud), but the ACs provide nice white noise that block most of it, so we never had any issues sleeping. The manager responds best to texts, then by email, but was difficult to reach by phone. We would rent Villa Tenerife again in a heartbeat and hope to be back. We adored our stay here, thank you so much!
