Great location and space!

4 of 5
This was a company retreat which meant we had to work during our time in Puerto Rico and at Villa Rosa. Everyone raved about the space and it was perfect for 20 of us. Pros: -Clear and fast communication with Manager -Enough beds for 20 adults -Areas inside and outside were perfect for hanging out day and night -Nice to be able to walk to your "backyard" a private beach - we hardly saw anyone around during our 9 days there. -Tata(housekeeper) is quick to response to call/texts or she'll just show up at the house for any questions or to fix something -Pig roast was amazing, definitely do this if you have a large group -Driveway was big enough to fit 7 cars and more (no street parking) -Walmart Super Center is about 15-20 minutes away and you can buy all your groceries and household items (soup, paper towel, toilet paper, etc) Cons: -Wi-Fi was spotty but it can be due to many of us using the internet at once -Water pipe in kitchen burst at night - but was quickly fixed the next day -Grill was not working correctly - but was quickly fixed the next day -Cooking equipment is a little outdated -Electricity was spotty during the day, sometimes we were not able to run the washer/dryer -Stray dogs on the beach (they were super cute!) but they would come into our yard and pick trash which was a little bothersome Overall it was a great experience for all of us. From inquiry to departing the villa, I (as the trip organizer) felt we were in good hands. Communication is key especially with a large group and I think everyone at Villa Rosa handled it professionally and effortlessly. Thanks Myrtle and Tata + Husband + Daughter for your hospitality!

Stayed here for a few years in a row now...

5 of 5
Stayed here before. Love the view and the house is very nice. Owners, manager and cleaning couple are great. Watch out for falling coconuts in the back yard! Overall great vacation spot. And please make sure to try Havana's on the Beach bar & grill right across the street!

Pre-cruise stay

5 of 5
We rented the whole villa for 3 days before we left on a cruise. The villa was great! We were traveling with family of all ages. Everyone was happy with the place. Comfortable beds, lots of beach towels, everything you need in the kitchen. The outdoor bathrooms by the pool are great for when you are tanning or swimming. The beach was beautiful, huge waves, nice walks in the morning to the lighthouse. We loved the bakery down the road, the food was great and very inexpensive sandwiches and bakery items. They were very friendly and helpful. The area is a little scary especially at night. I wouldn't walk down there at night during the day was fine. There is also a small bar across the street. They make the best pina coladas and food was delicious. The chef and bar tenders were very friendly and helpful there too. The area didn't seem to be the safest as we drove around but with the locked gate and the cameras we felt totally safe while we were at the villa. I hope to return for another vacation and stay for a whole week sometime. I would recommend this villa to my friends.
