Best view in all of puerto rico

5 of 5
Location was amazing! This condo is located about 2 1/2 hours from San Juan. Well worth the drive. The town is very friendly. You'll notice that almost every place in Puerto Rico has bars on their windows and gates. It's a culture thing. This condo is the penthouse of the building and overlooked the ocean! We sat on the decks of the penthouse every night and every morning. The building itself could use some maintance but we were so comfortable! Internet in Puerto Rico is bad no matter where you stay. I was told by a lady from Pennsylvania who lives part time in Puerto Rico that sometimes power and cable go out for no reason. You'll call the utilities and even they don't know why. So when this happens go to the beach. The unit does not have smoke detectors so just bring one with you if you come. Beds were amazing, washer & dryer were super handy! Plenty of dishes. The pool was clean, beach had lots of sea shells for picking! The manager was great! I could text her. She even came out on Easter to give us keys and clean from previous renters. I highly recommend

A fantastic getaway

5 of 5
We had a great stay at this home. Our group of 11 (4 adults, 7 kids age 10-17) found the accommodations to be just as advertised. It's a long drive from San Juan (count on 3.5 hours) but once we arrived, we had everything we needed for an enjoyable few days before our cruise. The cost was cheaper than any hotel stay for a group as large as ours, and the house was much more comfortable than a hotel. It was very clean. The beach was literally right outside the back door, and it was so uncrowded it might as well have been private. The kids loved playing in the waves and relaxing on the veranda, and there were plenty of hammocks, tables and chairs for playing games, eating, reading, and relaxing. There is a washing machine but no dryer. However, there are lots of clotheslines for drying. There is no oven but otherwise the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the food we purchased from a nearby grocery store. The three bedrooms are air conditioned, which was nice after a warm day on the beach. The owners were there to meet us and were very gracious. They answered all of our questions promptly via email before we arrived, and they sent a nice notecard afterward thanking us for our stay. In fact, our security deposit actually got home before we did! We have no complaints, and we would definitely return to this home if our travels bring us back to Puerto Rico. It was perfect for our needs.

Perfect Stay in a Perfect Location

5 of 5
The husband and I were celebrating ten years after initially getting engaged in Puerto Rico. Spent a couple days in Old San Juan before venturing to the west coast in search of waves and local beach culture. This home was perfect for us! We were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for our anniversary which was a nice touch. Spacious, comfortable, and an amazing setting overlooking the crashing waves 30 yards from the front porch. Several mornings we just pulled the lawn chairs across the street and sat on the water's edge with our coffee watching the guys boogie board. The upstairs lanai is where we lived when we were home enjoying most of our meals there and evening cocktails on the weekend watching the parade of locals on atv's, horses, and roaring through town, sirens blazing, in rocked out jeeps. All the festivity just led to the experience and we loved the locals, chatting it up frequently. We used the kitchen and all its utensils and gadgets regularly especially the blender with all the availability of fresh fruit. Definitely hit up the San Piedra Market before leaving San Juan and stock up as the quality in the nearby grocery store is not nearly as fresh. As far as the house, the description and photos gives a perfect impression so no need to elaborate. We aren't much fans of A/C so we only used it in the bedroom for sleeping and we were always comfortable just keeping the door closed all the time. No noise complaints really from the master upstairs either and all the other bedrooms are in the back of the house so I imagine they aren't too bad either. My favorite thing about this home is location, location, location! My husband spent three days at a surf school in Rincon, we hit many of the beaches...Crashboat is awesome for just chilling and meeting folks; made it out to Guajataca Forest for a Cave hike, and down to La Parguera to the Bio Bay. Everything was a convenient drive, folks were friendly. Loved that there were 5-6 food/bars within walking distance. Would definitely return....oooh, and that hot water thing...just turn the faucet on a slow trickle and voila! you're good to go. I mean, who wants scalding hot water when you're sunburnt and its 85 degrees, right? Nothing but two thumbs up here!!!
