                    Wonderful week In North Rustico

                    5 of 5
It was our first time to PEI and North Rustico and I am now in love with it. We spent a week in this lovely Condo at the end of July 2014. What a great decision!, There were 2 couples in our group. The Condos are clean, beautiful and stocked with all the necessities. Very comfy beds, too! As this property overlooks the harbor and ocean, A wonderful place to enjoy the Island. The views from the boardwalk are awasome. We saw bald eagles flying overhead on more that one occasion, many Seagulls , a blue heron and we even spotted an osprey nest full of their young. When we were not on the beach: mackerel fishing with the Bearded Skipper's deep sea fishing was a highlight and we fried them up on the BBQ provided. The owner Kelvin, was quick to respond to any questions and concerns and made the whole rental process so much easier than previous ones. Everything was perfect about this condo and location, which contributed to a relaxing, joyful vacation. We recommend it highly :) Thank you Kelvin!

                    A delight!

Jacque has gone out of her way to create a hospitable, warm, comfy, well appointed apartment get-a-way in North Rustico PEI. Her attention to detail and absolute spotlessness are welcomed and appreciated. We had to change travel plans and delay arrival by a day because of Hurricane Arthur - Jacque emailed us ahead of our arrival to alert us that we might want to change our travel schedule! Excellent experience here and we have been coming to the island for a few years - the Lantern Hill apartment is centrally located on the island and inviting little 'nest' with a warm and accommodating hostess! (PS. we love the Keurig - a quick coffee to wake up to the ocean view and the birdsong) Book in - you will not be disappointed because what you see is what you get = thanks Jacque!

                    Still dreaming of PEI!

                    5 of 5
PROS: House was well equipped with everything you could possibly need Owners were very responsive and available to any concerns/questions Very quiet and serene location with a a beautiful wildflower field in the back yard Great location - we loved the villages of North Rustico, Cavendish, Mayfield, and New Glasgow Very clean Wonderful restaurants nearby CON: My only comment is the house is about a 10 minute drive from town/beaches and is located on a dirt road. It was not a concern for us - in fact we rather enjoyed our quiet surroundings - but if you want to be in the middle of the action it might be something to consider. OVERALL IMPRESSION: We hated to leave and while we can't come back this year, we hope to be back next year. We enjoyed our stay so much that we might consider a vacation home of our own on PEI!
