Rooms with a view

5 of 5
We stayed at this house for one week during summer vacation last year. I am in love with this absolutely charming home on the Bay. There is of course the sweeping view of North Rustico Harbor. but there is also that faint smell of salt coming off the ocean combined with sounds of eagles and gulls fishing the waters in front the home. The furnishings are smart as well as comfortable. It feels like a real home with a vivid life and a history hospitably opened to guests. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for someone like myself who loves to cook on vacation.and less than a block away Adins Fish Market where fresh Seafood can be bought for a fraction of the market value. we also bought lobster fresh off one of the local fishing crews for $4 a pound. it was a delight to prepare meals the and then sit out on the deck overlooking the bay for a long leisurely evening!

Quiet, relaxing, comfy & quiet with lots to do!

5 of 5
Been in the area before & love the tranquility, distances within minutes of a walk to the best local seafood prepared, fished or being able to take back with you to prepare yourself! 2 of the best provincial parks on either side of the area or a simple short walk on the boardwalk to the point where there are souvenir shops, the blue mussel cafe, kayak rentals & where the North Rustico beach are located. The Harbour is just across the street where there is still an active fishing community & for a small fee you can adventure out on a fishing excursion or if you prefer, bring your own boat or jet ski, where there is a launching ramp with lots of detailed markers throughout the channels in the area. Local shopping & banking is within walking distance or the Cavendish strip mall is within 15mins away. Oyster Bed race park is about 10mins away & the brackley drive in movie theater is about 15mins from here. Charlottetown is between 25 to 30mins, so pretty much the center of all the best of what PEI has to offer! Good people to deal with, 5 star rating in my books!
