Darnley Cottage

4 of 5
Property was comfortable and in a good location. We loved PEI. Chris was very accomodating and followed through to make sure our stay was as expected. Overall, a very good value.

Beautiful setting

5 of 5
The cottage was very warm and cozy. It was clean and well equipped. The decoration was very tasteful and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is close by and really is a hidden treasure. We truly had a very pleasant stay.

Little Blue Cottage located on stunning beach!

4 of 5
We spent a week at this lovely little cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. In total, the cottage comfortably slept 4 adults and 3 children. The rooms were spacious enough and we never felt cramped. A washing machine was provided and there was a line to hang clothes to dry which was fine as we only had one rainy day. There was an outdoor shower which was great for washing all the sand from the kiddos before they entered the house. The only thing was that it was a bit hard to regulate the water temperature. The cottage had a huge yard for playing in with 2 adult bicycles and a few toys for the kids. The location was great. The beach was a short 5 minute walk. It was one of the most stunning beaches we ever visited and the children loved collecting shells and exploring the red rock cliffs. It seemed to be an beach that the locals enjoy quite regularly. If you go, be sure to attend attend a ceilidh ("KAY-lee") at the Malpeque Town Hall (5 min drive), held every Wednesday at 7:30. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family! Also make sure to eat at the Sou' West Grill along the drive to Cavendish- awesome food and great view! If you've forgotten any items, there is a general store a few minutes drive away from the cottage, towards the campground with everything you could need. Thanks Jim and family for a wonderful stay! ~The Burke Family
