My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We are Americans living in the Netherlands.
The location is perfect. The Sao Bento metro and train station is within walking distance (minutes) as are other significant Porto sights. There is a cute cafe just down the street called Mercearia das Flores that the owner, Christina, suggested. It was really cute and delicious. They have a wonderful collection of organic and local food and drinks. I suggest the dry vinho verde as a wine and the almond tart for something sweet. There's also a market to buy any toiletries or groceries in walking distance as well.
The apartment was more than what we hoped for. There was reliable wifi, a hair dryer, an iron/ironing board and a espresso percolator ("Moka pot") in the apartment. These amenities (just to name a few) were not listed in the ad and it was a relief that they were there.
The bed was firm and comfortable. The street can get loud late on Saturday night but the window doors muffle a great deal of it and keep out nearly all of the light.
The owner met us at the apartment, which was especially nice since we arrived late (nearly midnight). Christina and her husband were very kind and thorough in showing us the apartment. Thank you helping create some great memories!
We very much enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Porto.
