                  GREAT SPOT FOR OUR VACATION!

                  4 of 5
We found this the perfect place for our needs, and the owner who lives upstairs to be extremely helpful and accessible while our downstairs accommodations were also extremely private. My husband was attending a conference in Estoril, and other family members and friends were joining us for this vacation, so proximity to the train station was perfect! A supermarket, great little restaurants and wonderful beaches all within walking distance of the house, and yet easy to take the train to Lisbon and Estoril/Cascais, or places in between. We did not have or need a rental car for this visit! The house is well-equipped, and living areas spacious and comfortable. Great to have an extra half bath in addition to the two full bathrooms, too. Even an iron and ironing board and hair dryer! Thank-you, Isabel! We do advise getting explicit directions from owner about how to reach the house from the Sao Pedro train station on foot, as access is a bit confusing at first, though extremely simple once mastered. Noise of the passing trains did not bother us at all, but might be a problem for some. Otherwise an extremely quiet pedestrian neighborhood. Closets only in one bedroom, but hooks here and there and plenty of drawers suffice. The one double bed is very squeaky, but perfectly adequate, and other beds quite comfortable. Dishwasher and clothes washer much appreciated. Great showers and plenty of hot water!
