I have stayed in Joya six times over the last three years. It is a luxurious and safe facility which is maintained at the highest standards with excellent accessibility to the sophisticated Power Plant Mall across the street. The Rockwell neighborhood is beautiful with its greenery and is excellent for walking and/or jogging
Gabe's condo is in the North Tower of Joya. It is the quieter of the two main towers with fewer units per floor and more residents, as opposed to tourists, than the South Tower and thus the elevators and lobby are less congested. The North Tower is a distinct advantage of staying in this unit.
At first, Gabe's unit seemed a little more expensive to me than the other units, but I came to realize it is of excellent value. This unit is larger and has a den for extra space. The living room/dining room and the kitchen are larger allowing for entertaining of small groups of friends who might visit. While the neighborhood and the Power Plant Mall has many restaurants, buying groceries at the mall and cooking in the unit is very easy and, of course, much cheaper.
The condo is extremely clean and written instructions on how to use the electronic equipment, appliances, and wifi are posted conveniently in the unit.
Gabe also provides a local land line and a Magic Jack which are very helpful for every day communications and keeping expenses down. The private parking space in the basements also very useful. I do not drive in Manila but friends appreciated using the parking when visiting. The only other parking available is across the street in the Mall.
Gabe's sister manages the property and is always available should you have any requests or needs.
I highly recommend Joya and specifically this unit to others who want to stay in the Rockwell Area.
