Pefect Winter Retreat to get away from the city

5 of 5
Trish & Charlie's home is super clean, well-maintained, comfortable and feels like a real home. The kitchen is well stocked from for everything you could possibly need (yes, salt and pepper!) Trish is so kind, helpful and friendly. Glowing warm fireplace (with plenty of wood), track lighting on dimmers, fuzzy warm throw blankets that make you just want to fall asleep on the super soft sectional as you watch the snow fall, a lazy susan on the large coffee table make access to your chip and dip selection much easier, huge dining table set with candles welcome you to share some good stories & laughter while you eat your delicious food, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows, excellent taste in decor with a "Mad Men" theme in the gameroom fully equipped with a pool table, pokertable, backgammon, Monopoly, Sorry, Taboo, easy to bring in luggage through the garage (to avoid trudging through any snow), deer sightings, lake!! Even with the lake being frozen over, the view was very pretty. Snowtubing, skiing, outlet shopping and casino all nearby and easy to get too. This trip was an excellent getaway with our friends and we look forward to visiting again.
