Very clean, well stocked and comfortable

5 of 5
We needed an extra house for my Niece's wedding. This townhouse was close by and affordable. It is very spacious, neat and clean. I would recommend it to any one, especially a family with small children. We didn't have any children, but the house is set up well for them. There is 2 highchairs in the dining area and in a huge loft up from the master bedroom there is cribs, and swings along with toys and games. And a changing table in the large closet. Very nice!!

Best place in town!

5 of 5
Our family of 5 (including my 6-year old and two teenagers) just spent our best 3 nights ever in this beautiful home! There is absolutely no better place to stay! The accommodations are better than any home we have stayed at (and we've been all over). The home could not have had a single thing more to make it a more perfect stay! The home is furnished in such a way as to make you feel like you are tucked away in a log cabin with nobody around you for miles (although it is a townhouse but is perfectly quiet)! The beds could not be more comfortable and the fireplace is great for after a day on the slopes! There are all of the amenities as well: TVs, a VCR, all the paper supplies with excellent towels, etc. The loft was great for my 6-year old since he loved looking down at us as he played from above. In addition, you could not ask for a cleaner place! To make it even more perfect, the home is literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from Shawnee Mountain. You can practically sit on a snow tube and slide down the hill and be at the mountain! AMAZING! Quiet, cozy, comfortable and there's no way you can get bored. With the exception of our first day, it rained the entire time we were in Shawnee and we hit each and every spot that Nancie recommended. From Buddha popcorn with its 81 different flavors to the outlet mall, the Peruvian restaurant, and the Native American museum. As if that wasn't enough, the games and movies in the home, as well as the snow tubing down Shawnee (which we did on our first day) kept us all busy! My teenagers, who routinely hate going anywhere, were begging me to bring them back again! There are many hiking trails nearby, good restaurants, a movie theater and a playhouse right down the road. Finally, Nancie was by far the nicest person to deal with, which always makes for a pleasurable experience when one has to plan for a vacation. She was pleasant, organized, gave us recommendations of places to visit, and actively involved in ensuring that we were all pleased with being away from home. Why go anywhere else? Executive Bear Retreat ROCKS!!!
