Perfect winter getaway!

5 of 5
This was our first time in a new rental in over 20 years. So we were a little nervous. As soon as we got there we felt right at home! It is huge! Plenty of space for 25+ people. The pictures on the website do not give it any justice. There are so many rooms to socialize & spread out. The guys had a big flat screen to watch the football games, the girls could watch their shows in the family room & the kids even had 2 different TVs they could watch their shows on. It is the perfect home for a large group getaway. The owner was always quick to respond to any texts or messages I left him & extremely nice. We will be booking our summer trip also & hopefully if available, all of our winter trips. Thanks Again!!

Relaxing, comfortable and peaceful

5 of 5
We arrived there after a lot of correspondence with Roberta the Owner and it was like we knew her already. She and her family were there when we got there and helped us settle in before leaving. We have lived in the Laurel highlands before and this property was a huge hit with the kids. My 2 year old loved the creek on the property as did my 7 year old. This place is a few miles from Ohiopyle and we went there one of the days and played in the river and cucumber falls. It was great to get away from the City and relax. We went berry picking around the property and about and feasted on some wild raspberries and blackberries. The kitchen is well equipped. The weather was awesome and we even roasted some marshmallows in the firepit. Its quiet and yet connected to civilization. We make it a weekend of unplugging our Ipads and such and that was a joy but there is WIFI if you do need it. We even went to Pittsburg one of the days. Falling Waters is a hop and skip away too. All in all a wonderful place to unwind and we will be back for sure.
