Two Million Dollar View

5 of 5
The outdoor space, gazebo, fire pit, dock and large deck on main house made our family reunion vacation a huge success. There was plenty of shade in the gazebo for the adults, a huge dock for fishing and lounging and plenty of lawn space for games. The views from the upper deck and dock are incredible and the sunsets can't be beat. Spinnlers Point is a quiet community with friendly people. The lake is clean and was great for swimming and boating. Both houses were very clean and bright. When you walk into the main house you look right through to the water. Great open floor plan which allowed us to be inside on the rainy nights and have plenty of room. A couple of comments: Considering the size of the houses and the fact that they are usually rented to multiple families, they need to reconfigure beds. The double beds should be swapped out for queen mattresses (some were soft and need replacing anyway). The futon mattresses should be upgraded to real mattresses. The air-conditioning in the small chalet needs to be upgraded so that all bedrooms can be comfortable for sleeping on hot nights (which we had a few). Despite these things you can't beat the two million dollar view from the property and house, the location of the home (best spot on the lake) and property. All our inquiries were quickly answered by Trish and overall we were very happy with the homes and would love to come back in the future. It was very hard to leave that lake!

Awesome weekend getaway for young professionals!!!

5 of 5
We were a group of 22 mid-to-late 20s young professionals from Manhattan and looking for a couples getaway/birthday celebration. We decided on the Poconos as it sure beats the price tag of a Hamptons rental and also provides a much smoother route that avoids the dreadful Long Island traffic and toll roads. Luckily, we came across this listing and if you are reading this review you have come to a great place. In short, we liked the house so much, we actually didn't leave our entire stay! And honestly, why would you when there is a pool, hot tub, gym area, man cave equipped with billiards table & dart board, three grills, basketball, numerous living rooms & kitchens, and land the size of a football field. When we came, the house was recently renovated with new carpeting, appliances, and other electronics such as a massive TV which made perfect for those of us who watched the final matches of the world cup game. The gem of the house was obviously the outdoor area, which made great for both relaxing, grilling, and just living the American dream and drinking a couple of beers. Luckily, there's a town within 10 minutes from the house that provided for easy access to any of our needs, not to mention a Wal-Mart for those bulk purchases. The owners were great and extremely accommodating, they provided us with a detailed tour of the property, a list of local activities such as rafting, paintball, etc and personal numbers if any issues should arise. Our security deposit was refunded within 2 weeks, and we are currently trying to figure out another stay, so book fast or else we will!!

Grad Celebration

5 of 5
We rented this estate for our daughters graduation party for family and friends. We were sold immediately while were setting up for the party with family and our daughter was finally speechless! There are so many to see and do, to be honest, we were speechless when we first drove up to the house. It was evident that there was a lot of thought that went into creating this oasis, even down to the very minute details. There are areas that were made especially for kids and there were area where all the adults congregated around. The biggest surprise was what is in the rear of the house, WOW! A must see.
