PERFECT GETAWAY!

5 of 5
The apartment is beautiful with updated, modern decor and is spotless. The location is great - walking distance to attractions and restaurants. We took our 17 month old and set up the portable crib in the den and had plenty of space. The stocked Keurig is a nice too!

PERFECT LOCATION

5 of 5
The house is an original from the 1860's and was located in the center or town on the same route President Lincoln rode past to give the Gettysburg address. The building next to it still has a cannon ball stuck in the bricks. They have a nice deck out back that is perfect to relax with a glass of wine, The house was clean and fairly spaceous with 2 seperate bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Was comfortable for the three of us. Rod met us and helped us lug our bags in. The arrangements went very smooth. If you want a battlefield tour, call the visitor center in advance and ask for a private guide who will drive your car around the city and battlefield. The cost is only $65 per car and we got an excellent experience at our own pace with all of our questions answered.

COZY & CONVENIENT

4 of 5
We stayed five nights while visiting Pittsburgh, and found the apartment clean, comfortable, and convenient. Having a bus stop with 3 bus lines in front of the apartment was very useful, and we used the bus nearly every day to get downtown. The king-sized bed with the Sleep Number feature was very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to cook dinner twice. The washer and dryer were a plus as well. There is a Thai restaurant (that we did not try) just across the street, as well as a small used bookstore. I would recommend the property for a couple, knowing that it's not centrally located in Pittsburgh per se, but still close enough to access most of Pittsburgh's attractions fairly easily.
