Perfect location! Clean and comfortable!

5 of 5
The was the perfect location for our getaway. We stayed 3 nights. I had 3 kids ages 7, 9 and 11, so the loft was a big plus. We spent 2 days sightseeing and 2 days playing in a soccer tournament. The apartment was convenient to everything . . . longest drive was less than 5 miles, although we walked to most places. If the kids needed a short rest or a bathroom break, the apartment was close enough to walk back to and relax. It was great! As the other reviewers have eluded to, Sam provided much helpful information and suggestions. A visit to the Horse Soldier shop downstairs is a "must". My kids visited the shop at least 5 times. While we were right in the middle of everything, you would never know it. You don't even know the shop is downstairs and the noise level from the street is minimal . . . barely noticeable. Beds are very comfortable. Having a reserved parking space right near the entrance to the apartment was awesome. We will definitely try to stay here again next year if we are back in town for the soccer tournament.

PERFECTION!!!!!

I know everyone has different expectations when they travel. I was with my 2 brothers and another good friend. We were visiting Pittsburgh to watch 3 baseball games. We could not have been happier with what we got for our money. We stayed at a downtown hotel last year and we much preferred this apartment. Its about a 10-15 minute drive to the city if traffic isnt an issue (never was an issure for us). We ride bicycles everywhere once we're in the city. Its an awesome way to get around. We found free parking by the river and rode the bikes all over town. When we were done riding, it was great to come home to a place that felt like home. We used the outdoor patio area every night to grill and play cards (Canasta). The patio area is very peaceful and relaxing. The Kitchen at this apartment is the most well stocked kitchen that I have ever found in 10 years of renting homes from VRBO. The Giant Eagle grocery store that is just around the corner, is an impressive store also. They have anything you would want to make a great meal. The Strip District in Pittsburgh is also a great place to get unique items and produce for making a meal. Its a must see area of Pittsburgh. If we plan another trip to the Burgh, I hope this apartment is available. It offers everything you need and more for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your apartment.

Thanks, Beautiful Apartment

I had to go to Philadelphia for a work conference at the Sofitel in Rittenhouse Square. Since I was brining my two daughters and my parents were flying in to babysit, I really wanted to find an apartment nearby. This apartment was great. It was only five blocks away from the hotel. The layout was great with enough space for us all to be comfortable. We were especially thankful for a comfortable place when my daughter got sick and my parents ended up having to stay inside for a few days. The kitchen has all the appliances and pans you need, but is not stocked with cooking staples (oil, vinegar, etc.) However with a Trader Joes and CVS just a couple blocks away it was easy to stock up. The building was nice and the people at the front desk were extremely friendly. The laundry is downstairs but you have to buy a card and then charge it to use it. If you are staying for a longer period it isn't a problem. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is great with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. It was centrally located for all the touristy things as well. The double decker buses pass through the neighborhood and there is a bus that stops in front of the building that takes you to the Ferry for the aquarium. Ben was flexible in how we made arrangements, which made it easier since we were arriving on an international flight.
