Excellent experience

5 of 5
IT was our first visit to Pittsburgh and we were stressed out by the complicated highway system in and out of the city. Therefore it was such a wonderful experience to come back to a clean and well-furnished apartment during our stay. We were particularly impressed by the well-equipped kitchen and the seemingly endless supply of coffee. The sofa and armchairs were very comfortable and the gas fireplace adds a nice thoughtful touch. The apartment is very modernly furnished and equipped with more electronic devices than we could possibly use. It is no doubt that the owner aims to please.

A truly unique experience & trip back to the past.

It's above the ho-hum of a traditional hotel stay. Plenty of things to do and see. If you are into history or fads of the past it's the place for you. I look forward to staying there again sometime.

Wonderful place

5 of 5
We loved our stay here...The garden area is lovely for morning coffee, although it turned cold our last few days. Heard they had a really tough winter. The house is in a gorgeous area with interesting history and cool little shops & lots of things to see: art gallery, aviary, housing for artists who have been persecuted and driven out by their governments. The bus stops 3 blocks away so you can also go outside the area easily. Owners are friendly and helpful with little hints of things to see and do. Our niece & her husband live in Pittsburgh and we would gladly stay here again when we return.
