Perfect Weekend Getaway

5 of 5
I stayed at this apartment with three of my friends for a mini-college reunion (we pick somewhere different each summer). It was a nice size for us four adults. The apartment is tidy, clean, and exactly as it is pictured. It is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and drugstores in case you need anything. It was a short drive into the city- we enjoyed sightseeing in Pittsburgh and had a great time there. The amenities in the apartment were convenient- it was so nice to have a place with a kitchen- one of my friends was very happy with the stocked Keurig machine. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and the large flat-screen TVs when we weren't out on the town. Thank you so much for a great stay!

A truly unique experience & trip back to the past.

It's above the ho-hum of a traditional hotel stay. Plenty of things to do and see. If you are into history or fads of the past it's the place for you. I look forward to staying there again sometime.

Cozy & Convenient

4 of 5
We stayed five nights while visiting Pittsburgh, and found the apartment clean, comfortable, and convenient. Having a bus stop with 3 bus lines in front of the apartment was very useful, and we used the bus nearly every day to get downtown. The king-sized bed with the Sleep Number feature was very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to cook dinner twice. The washer and dryer were a plus as well. There is a Thai restaurant (that we did not try) just across the street, as well as a small used bookstore. I would recommend the property for a couple, knowing that it's not centrally located in Pittsburgh per se, but still close enough to access most of Pittsburgh's attractions fairly easily.
