Fantastic place

5 of 5
Five couples spent three wonderful nights at Sundance Lodge. All of us were in our late sixties and early seventies and the accommodations were perfect for us. The owner thought of about everything you could possibly need to make our stay comfortable and fun. The lodge is very spacious and quite attractive. Nobody ever felt crowded. We sat on the deck and watched the deer. We walked up the hill to the pond and fished . Eight of us drove the six miles to the Pine Creek Rail Trail and rode our bikes into the Grand Canyon. We drove in to Wellsboro and visited the many quaint shops. We ran out of time or we would have taken a raft trip on Pine creek. We ate all our meals at the lodge and the owner had provided every thing we needed to prepare the meals. The dining table seated ten so we were able to all sit and enjoy ourselves. If you don’t want to cook, there are plenty of choices for eating in Wellsboro. This group of friends have spent time in other rental cabins and this was by far the best. All of us are eager to return to Sundance Lodge in the near future.

Beautiful, secluded location!

5 of 5
My entire family loved our stay at this beautiful lodge. The surroundings were ideal for rest and relaxation. There were ample towels and bed linens available and it was very tidy when we arrived. The view from the hot tub and deck was phenomenal. We didn't see any elk right on the property but saw a total of slightly over 200 during our drives into town for supplies. I would not hesitate to stay here again, the reservation process was very simple and Judy was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had.

Wonderful Family Reunion

5 of 5
These two interesting lodges were an old corporate hunting camp and later a restaurant in a lovely remote area surrounded by woodlands. The hollows, streams, the lake, trails, flora, fauna and extensive forests are an idyllic setting for a respite for the harried - - and a perfect place for our multi-generation family reunion. This is not a luxury resort, but rather more rustic which gives it eminent charm. It should be ideal for small wedding parties, retreats, as well as reunions. We hope to return for many reunions to come!
