Charming town in the midst of Lancaster

                      5 of 5
Charming town in the midst of Lancaster county's Amish country. Our stay at this home was memorable to say the least. The home is situated off the main road with its own pond for fishing including Geese, large outdoor firepit/BBQ picnic area for outdoor dining.Inside had everything needed to feast or just VEG OUT in the basement play area which includes big screen TV,card table ,comfy couches and plenty of toys for the little ones. The town of Lititz was a pleasure to visit.I have to start a new sentence to fill it all in Candyology,Wilbur's Chocolate Factory,Pretzel making,Olio olive oil boutique and our favorite was the exotic cheese/meat store where we bought Buffalo & Kangaroo burgers for the BBQ.In all we had plenty of room, privacy and amenities.Happy to return when we can. Thanks for letting us enjoy your Great getaway.Karl & Family

                      Another Relaxing Vacation

                      5 of 5
This is our 3rd year staying at this true home away from home. I'm so blessed to have found a centrally located, comfortable and very well-maintained home 5minutes from extended family. I have to share an amazing experience I had this this stay. While sleeping in the upstairs bedroom with the night view, it was stormy one night and I was wakened by flashes of light several times in a row. Thinking it was lightening I finally kept my eyes open and waited to hear the thunder to know how far away the storm was. To my surprise it was lightening bugs, so bright the flashes woke me up! How wonderful.

                      Perfect River Getaway :)

                      5 of 5
We had a great time the four days and three nights we visited. The owners were more than helpful during our stay. They really went above and beyond our expectations. We had everything we needed to make smores on the counter when we arrived. Thank you Janice! The house was clean and just as described. There was more than enough space for our family, 2 adults and 7 children. The river views are amazing. This house truly has everything you will need on your stay. We over packed a lot of amenities that are already there! The only thing I could have used were some toddler toys, although with all of the new surroundings I am not sure he would've played with them anyway! The kids (ages 13 years-18 months) all had something to do. Puzzles, kayaks, watching the birds and playing on the pier were all favorites. We were lucky enough to have the owners staying next door so we were given a wealth of information about the area and even a boat ride to catch some fish! We visited a trout hatchery nearby which the kids really enjoyed. We also took a trip over to Hershey's Chocolate world which was about 20-30 minutes away. The house is near a highway and a train track, but neither bothered us on our stay. In fact we kind of liked hearing the trains go by since we do have many where we live. It was very peaceful, we only wished we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and if we return it will be for more than just a couple of days!
