Owner, Location & Price--NONE BETTER!!!

5 of 5
Extremely caring owner!! (story too long to go into, but she is amazing). The house is PERFECT! A stone's throw from Farnsworth House/downtown Gettysburg--other than visiting the Battlefield--you can walk to everywhere!! Meticulously clean home, comfortable beds, lovely & quiet neighborhood and gorgeously decorated. Can't stress enough the great location!! Don't forget to visit the free (donations accepted) History Museum on Baltimore Street--amazing items (not CW related) and the Lincoln Diner is a must for breakfast! YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG RENTING THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME FROM A WONDERFUL OWNER!!

Thanksgiving Weekend 2014

5 of 5
We stayed in the Glass Gable (south) for the Thanksgiving Weekend with friends from Ohio. As we are from Long Island, NY it was a great half way point to meet. The house itself is beautiful. It is beautifully furnished, well stocked with all the necessary items we needed, and was even decorated inside and out for the holiday season. Even with seven people in the group, we had plenty of room for everyone and there is plenty of space to have privacy if needed. We had a small issue with the wifi that Diana responded to promptly and she was courteous and very welcoming allowing us to arrive early due to a snowstorm. We enjoyed the proximity to town, dining, shopping, and a local movie theater. Gettysburg was less than a half hour away and is a must see destination if your in the area. We all enjoyed our weekend very much and highly recommend Glass Gables to all.

Perfection!

5 of 5
Our family came up to Lititz to see our daughter at Linden Hall. It was just one walking-block away from us. We even had a front row seat to the Halloween Parade. This house has ample space for us all. I love old homes and it was thrilling to get to be inside of such history.(built in 1848) Since it is located on Main St., it is within walking distance of all local restaurants and shops. If anyone has a chance to experience this historic wonder, DO SO!
