A luxurious spot for a weekend getaway!

5 of 5
Rented this cabin with about a dozen friends for a weekend getaway outside the city. I was looking for a cabin large enough to house a dozen adults that had all the amenities of home and still had a ‘cabin-like’ feel. This property fit the bill perfectly! It is a beautiful house that is well kept and very clean, it certainly exceeded my guests’ expectations. The house is large enough that a substantial number of adults can hang out all weekend inside and NOT be on top of one another. The weather was cold and less than ideal when we visited, but everyone was warm and comfortable inside all weekend long. There is room to hang out upstairs in front of a TV and a fire and a game room downstairs where you can play pool, watch TV and play games. Our group enjoyed cooking large meals in the kitchen and everyone spent the weekend relaxing, playing and enjoying the house. We did get a bit of sunshine and took the opportunity to bundle up and go outback to walk along the trail immediately behind the house! You can hear the river from the back porch and it was so nice to sit outside with a hot cup of coffee in the morning listening to the rapids. The owners of the property were very responsive during our stay and immediately responded to any questions I had. They were super detailed with the instructions on how to get to the cabin (which is off the beaten path). I would definitely rent this home again for another peaceful getaway in the mountains.

The cabin was fantastic. A perfect remote getaway. Vic was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this cabin for a weekend getaway. Thanks!

Perfect Poconos lake house!

5 of 5
This was one of the most sweetest getaways we've ever taken! The cottage is beautifully appointed, so stylish and stocked to gills with anything and everything you could need. Very comfy beds and pretty linens and the most incredible views to wake up to each morning. We lounged on the quaint dock every day and my son discovered and fell in love with fishing! The inflatable boat was just right for the lake, and so peaceful to drift around on. The hammock was another favorite place to pass the time. We couldn't believe how much wildlife came to visit us! Herds of sweet deer were so much fun to see. On our second day we discovered a pack of skunks had decided to move in under the shed so we contacted the owner who responded and immediately sent a humane trapper to relocate the skunks. We were so happy that she took care of it right away and we didn't have to worry about it all. The pools and other facilities of the community that the house is located within were also very nice, but we spent nearly every minute at the cottage loving our little bit of lakeside paradise. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this cottage, you won't be disappointed!
