So I spent the weekend with my social circle in amazingly welcoming log build home in the mountains of Pennsylvania. The views from the home where breath taking. Upon entering the home its almost as if I had stayed there before . Home was very warm the heat and fire place was almost not necessary due to the fantastic radiant heat that is in the floors . The house was extremely clean and the beds where large . Lots and lots of sleeping space for larger partys. Neil was very easy to work with and even took the time out of his day to turn on the tv and heat so that when we arrived we felt as if we had come home ,light on and all . The home is within driving distance (15 mins) of a Wal mart, local grocery, beer distribution, and if you are looking to hit the slopes as we did it's only about 30 mins away . A very doable drive to jack frost or big bolder. I will definitely be back again .

Beautiful, clean and comfy.

This place is truly one of a kind. Loved the different themes in each room. Master bath is gorgeous and there is custom made furniture throughout. Plenty of space if you happen to be with a large group. House was very clean and well maintained. The ambiance and 'warm feeling' will bring us back.

A luxurious spot for a weekend getaway!

5 of 5
Rented this cabin with about a dozen friends for a weekend getaway outside the city. I was looking for a cabin large enough to house a dozen adults that had all the amenities of home and still had a ‘cabin-like’ feel. This property fit the bill perfectly! It is a beautiful house that is well kept and very clean, it certainly exceeded my guests’ expectations. The house is large enough that a substantial number of adults can hang out all weekend inside and NOT be on top of one another. The weather was cold and less than ideal when we visited, but everyone was warm and comfortable inside all weekend long. There is room to hang out upstairs in front of a TV and a fire and a game room downstairs where you can play pool, watch TV and play games. Our group enjoyed cooking large meals in the kitchen and everyone spent the weekend relaxing, playing and enjoying the house. We did get a bit of sunshine and took the opportunity to bundle up and go outback to walk along the trail immediately behind the house! You can hear the river from the back porch and it was so nice to sit outside with a hot cup of coffee in the morning listening to the rapids. The owners of the property were very responsive during our stay and immediately responded to any questions I had. They were super detailed with the instructions on how to get to the cabin (which is off the beaten path). I would definitely rent this home again for another peaceful getaway in the mountains.
