RUSTIC AND COZY

4 of 5
My husband and I recently enjoyed 4th of July weekend at this rustic, cozy cottage. It is a log cabin with all that charm yet has a modern, functional flair. Our first night was very warm but with ceiling fans and windows open we had a very comfortable sleep. The sound of the rushing stream right outside the windows affords a quieting effect.  On the second day, Hurricane Arthur blew through and cooled everything off enough to use the wood burning fireplace. When the rain stopped we were also able to wander through the town of Milford, which has many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to cook/BBQ our own meals, share our vacation with our two dogs, and sit and relax outside and inside. We definitely would like to come back and try a snowy winter stay.

TERRIFIC CABIN, GREAT VALUE!

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings. We loved hearing the river rushing by and swinging on the back porch swing. We spent one day white water rafting and one day at a nearby lake. It was a super place to relax and recharge. We'll be back!

PERFECT GETAWAY FOR R&R AND GOOD FUN!

5 of 5
Matt’s home is a true HomeAway gem! My family (11 adults) fit very comfortably in here for our long weekend getaway. The property is located in a secluded and gated community, so privacy and security was no issue at all. It is central to area attractions; we rafted at Kittattiny Canoes (20 minute drive), hiked and swam in the beautiful waterfalls at Child’s Park (13 minute drive). We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for our entire stay but if you’re looking to dine out, we passed several places to eat nearby. The fenced in backyard was beautifully landscaped with plenty of space for our pups to roam and for us to enjoy some backyard BBQ in the gazebo! Matt was a very accommodating host. We communicated via text and he immediately responded to all of my questions and requests. We highly recommend this place for some good R&R. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a beautiful, spacious, clean, relaxing space! Our family created many lasting memories here, and can’t wait for another opportunity to return. Ryan
