So happy!

5 of 5
We stayed at this lake front home 4th of July weekend with another family. I can't say enough great things about our stay. The home is immaculate and clean. Big screen TV, sound system, gas fireplace! The kitchen has updated amenities and a huge island. The bedrooms are spacious and again, very clean. The view from the home looking at the lake is picturesque and could pass for a postcard! More than enough space for the kids to run around in. The relaxing and tranquil moments we had sitting on the deck watching our kids play, sipping on a glass of wine and enjoying the view is what will keep up coming back time and time again! We also went skiing at Camelbak which was only about 20 to 25 minutes away! One thing I wasn't crazy about was some geese poop on the property but it didn't hinder the kids running around since it was at the edge of the property. I highly recommend this home...just don't book the weekend we will be there! Our host Dimitry was Johnny on the spot! Very accommodating and took the guesswork out of the experience.

Very spacious and beautiful 4 bedroom home. The place was very clean, furniture in great condition. Great house for a big family or just bunch of friends. Very nice deck and tranquil nature, enjoyed every minute of it while doing barbecue. Would highly recommend it since it's a nice get away and a cozy, home like environment .Will absolutely visit this place again.

Relaxing Stay in the Poconos

4 of 5
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city and got just that. Cherie was responsive to my questions before our stay making it very easy to plan for. Her home is super cute, you can tell there was a lot of thought and effort put in to the decor. Since we live in an apartment, it was a treat to cook on the charcoal grill and eat outside. One tip - make sure you get everything on your shopping list when at the grocery store, because unlike being in the city, it isn't a walk across the street if you forget something, more like a 5 mile drive - which we didn't mind because we went there for quiet and relaxation - but just something to keep in mind! I am a neat freak and always a little uneasy about renting someone else's house so the best thing about this house for me is that it was SUPER clean. You could eat off the floor! While we enjoyed grilling we also tried out some of the restaurants Cherie recommended and they were good. We also visited Mount Airy Casino for a bit and walked around a local harvest festival. This home was the perfect getaway for us.
