We enjoyed our say here. It was decorated beautifully. The children loved the lake. They saw a bald eagle and a ton of deer. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck every morning. We usually go to the Jersey shore every year and we felt like this was more of a family vacation. The children played all the time and loved going on walks with the family. This is the first time I have used HomeAway and Howard was wonderful with us. We saw a sunset on Camelback Mountain, we swam in the lake, and we even saw a cardboard boat race at Pines Lake! We went to Country Junction one day and drove through Jim Thorpe, which was beautiful.

Every year my family and my sister's family sneak away from the city to the Poconos for a few days. Every year we look for a new place b/c the year before the house wasn't right. Not anymore, we've found the perfect place. The kids disappeared downstairs the entire trip, adults upstairs...ultimate peace! The house was very clean, kitchen is up to date, great location, and ton of space inside. Not to mention the hot tub! We were lucky enough to get snow and we were able to do some sledding right behind the house. It was great. One thing to note: If it snows you will NOT be able to get up the driveway without Four Wheel Drive. (Even with my Jeep with 4 wheel drive I couldn't get up the driveway in the foot of snow). Wasn't a big deal, just parked the 2 cars at the bottom of the driveway and made the 50 yard work up/down the hill. House is so great and secluded it's worth it. Owner is really friendly and always available to answer any questions.

I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful location. The owners were awesome and extremely helpful. Every direction they gave was accurate and the pictures they sent of the place are true to the tee. We took a couples retreat there and relaxed tremendously. The kayaks were a joy and the campfire was amazing. When the guys watched football, the ladies had an entirely different room to have girl talk and watch Sex and The City (the really did). If your looking for a nice and relaxing get-away, this is the place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
