Best Home Ever!!

5 of 5
This was truly our favorite home we ever rented! My Mom decided to rent the house for Easter week for us kids and her Grandkids. We had 12 people in the house and 4 visiting for the week(my brother lives 10 minutes from there) so basically 16 of us in the house for the most part and we never felt cramped! The layout of the house is perfect for large families. The open kitchen/dining/living was really nice when cooking dinners that you never felt excluded! The kitchen is FULLY stocked!! The sunsets and lake view were amazing.. Especially from the hot tub every night!! The kids playground was an added bonus that we didn't even notice when we booked it:) The oversized table was perfect for our large family! The couches were comfy and there was plenty of room for us all to watch the final four and national Championship... Yay Duke:) The high ceilings and natural sunlight made it feel so country:) The house itself was beautiful but the welcoming touches and extras really make the house standout! There was not one thing missing in this house! I know they're little things but when you have kids the little things are nice.. Dish towels, scotch tape, scissors, decks of cards, blank paper and pens, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, condiments in the fridge, spices and Pam in the cabinet, tin foil, soap in all the bathrooms, cooking trays... And on and on.. It just seemed like everytime we thought we forgot something we opened a drawer and it was there! My shirt button popped on Easter Sunday right as we were leaving for church and I went to go change and my Mom said check the drawer and sure enough there were safety pins in a drawer! We've rented expensive homes in the past that had nothing in it.. This had every last thing you could imagine! Many homes in the Poconos are strictly rentals, you could tell this one is not! A beautiful home with all the extras!! We will definitely be renting again! And Allison also responded immediately to every silly question I bothered her with! And the welcome note and bottle of wine was so sweet!! Like I said it's the little things!! Thank you again for making our Easter break such a fun family celebration!!!

Perfect Winter Getaway

5 of 5
Every year my family and my sister's family sneak away from the city to the Poconos for a few days. Every year we look for a new place b/c the year before the house wasn't right. Not anymore, we've found the perfect place. The kids disappeared downstairs the entire trip, adults upstairs...ultimate peace! The house was very clean, kitchen is up to date, great location, and ton of space inside. Not to mention the hot tub! We were lucky enough to get snow and we were able to do some sledding right behind the house. It was great. One thing to note: If it snows you will NOT be able to get up the driveway without Four Wheel Drive. (Even with my Jeep with 4 wheel drive I couldn't get up the driveway in the foot of snow). Wasn't a big deal, just parked the 2 cars at the bottom of the driveway and made the 50 yard work up/down the hill. House is so great and secluded it's worth it. Owner is really friendly and always available to answer any questions.

Great for Anything

5 of 5
I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful location. The owners were awesome and extremely helpful. Every direction they gave was accurate and the pictures they sent of the place are true to the tee. We took a couples retreat there and relaxed tremendously. The kayaks were a joy and the campfire was amazing. When the guys watched football, the ladies had an entirely different room to have girl talk and watch Sex and The City (the really did). If your looking for a nice and relaxing get-away, this is the place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
