Great vacation

5 of 5
We had a wonderful week on the lake. Our Grandchildren couldn't get enough swimming, fishing and kayaking. The house was in great condition, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We all felt very much at home! Haven't been on the lake for 30+ years. Felt like coming home! We will be back!

A Wonderful Family Vacation Spot

5 of 5
Our family of 17 rented both locations for a wonderful week on what we call "Lake Wally." The homes were beautiful, clean and well kept. The site Manager, Trish, was friendly, helpful and accessible, if needed. We were 11 adults (ages 28 - 60) and 6 Grandkids (ages 1-10) and we had plenty of room. The sunsets were awesome. Whether it was the family playing games on the lawn, relaxing on the deck or swimming/fishing from the docks, everyone had a great time. We have been vacationing together every 2 years and our Grandkids are already planning our 2016 vacation at Lake Wally!

Wonderful family vacation

4 of 5
Fantastic property! Had a wonderful family vacation for 15 of us----9 adults and 6 children. Home is very clean and well stocked. Boys room with the loft was a big hit So much so that the girls were a little disappointed that it wasn't theirs! The game room was a hit for all ages despite the broken pin ball machine and juke box, (the repairman arrived the last day of our stay). Plenty of refrigerator space to keep us stocked for the week and the views and serene surroundings can't be beat. I have to send a big thank you to our realtor and manager for having extra ramps intalled on the 2 deck leveIs so,that my WC bound husband could get outside to observe and participate in outside family activities. In fairness though, I have to rate this as a 4 star property for 1reason only and that is that the property is advertised as HCP accessible but is truly for someone who has limited mobility (can stand and go up a step or two). Despite the accessibility limitations we were able to make it all work because of my husbands excellent upper body strength and 4strapping sons. I am writing the following as an FYI for other potential HCP renters so that you can make a more informed decision as to how this home may or may not meet your needs. First of all, there is easy access to the kitchen, dining room, powder room, outside decks via the installed ramps and a sizeable bedroom. The bathroom in the accessible main floor bedroom can accommodate a narrow WC thru the door and at the sink and toilet but the tub/shower is not accessible-- there are no grab bars in the shower or around the toilet. Access to the house was only possible through the garage via a ramp we brought with us. Wheeling a wheel chair( and/or a motorized scooter) is very difficult to nearly impossible thru the gravel driveway. Since there's no elevator, access to the lower level game room was to go thru the garage, around the out side of the house and in thru the mud room. There is no WC access to the dock ----or the upper 3rd floor but that wasn't necessary. As I said, despite the limitations, we all had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend 39 Boulder Point for large gatherings. You won't be disappointed!
