      Two Million Dollar View

      5 of 5
The outdoor space, gazebo, fire pit, dock and large deck on main house made our family reunion vacation a huge success. There was plenty of shade in the gazebo for the adults, a huge dock for fishing and lounging and plenty of lawn space for games. The views from the upper deck and dock are incredible and the sunsets can't be beat. Spinnlers Point is a quiet community with friendly people. The lake is clean and was great for swimming and boating. Both houses were very clean and bright. When you walk into the main house you look right through to the water. Great open floor plan which allowed us to be inside on the rainy nights and have plenty of room. A couple of comments: Considering the size of the houses and the fact that they are usually rented to multiple families, they need to reconfigure beds. The double beds should be swapped out for queen mattresses (some were soft and need replacing anyway). The futon mattresses should be upgraded to real mattresses. The air-conditioning in the small chalet needs to be upgraded so that all bedrooms can be comfortable for sleeping on hot nights (which we had a few). Despite these things you can't beat the two million dollar view from the property and house, the location of the home (best spot on the lake) and property. All our inquiries were quickly answered by Trish and overall we were very happy with the homes and would love to come back in the future. It was very hard to leave that lake!

best weekend get away we ever had..............

      5 of 5
Existence of such a heavenly and natural abode in such close proximity to the hullabaloo of NY made us realize the urban evocation of a farmhouse can be so enriching. This was much needed and we enjoyed our stay for each moment it was worth. The service rendered to customers was fabulous and the dining experience unique, needless to say. What counted and really moved us was the staff camaraderie and the way they took care of minute details to make our stay comfortable and extra efforts to make us feel at home. The tiny tots also enjoyed to their heart’s content and we would rate this stay one of the finest and coziest undertaken so far making Summer of 2012 very memorable. We haven't had enough and we are all hoping we derive yet another opportunity to visit Palmyra during the fall.
