Exactly as described.

Everything exactly as described and pictured. Beach at the cottage is at a slight slope down to the water. The beach is rocky and has a fire pit. The dock was great and we spent a lot of time on it. We were there the week after Labor Day and it was deserted around us although the lake was busy on the weekends with boat traffic. There is a BBQ grill now and everything was clean and well maintained. The owners were available and extremely friendly. Everything went off with any problems. We had a great time, the sunsets were spectacular indeed. It will be a yearly getaway for us. There is plenty to do in the area. We had 2 small dogs and found restaurants that would serve us outside. The Dimmick Inn in Milford, PA was the most friendly. Great week with varying weather. Bring sheets, pillowcases & towels, everything else is pretty much provided. Refrigerator was full size and roomy. Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves the mountains and lakes.

Great, comfortable house for a get-away!

We rented this home over this past Labor Day weekend. The owner communicated promptly with us and was very accomodating. The house was perfect for our family and dog. Although the house is not extremely large, but there is plenty of room for 6 adults. All of the windows in the front of the house also make it seem much larger. There's a large deck (with a gate) which was terrific for our granddaughter and our dog...kept everyone close and safe. The house is in a lovely wooded setting right across the street from Beaver lake. We didn't have the opportunity to use many of the communities amenities. We did enjoy walking around Beaver Lake and it only took us a few minutes to get to a marina on LW for boating. Great, comfortable house for a get-away...especially if you have a dog in your family!
