The surroundings were an eye-feast as expected in the Poconos, but when we first got out of our cars, we were ecstatic when we realized it was profoundly, therapeutically quiet. The log home was wonderful! It was tastefully decorated with a cool, American Indian theme, clean and stocked with all the utensils and tools we needed. There was more than enough room for our family with grandkids to relax and play. The porch was the morning and evening meeting place for us oldtimers, but the firepit was where we ended each evening as a family roasting mallows and making SMores. There was ample parking for our cars and boat trailer. The short walk to the boat slip was not a problem, because we knew our boat was waiting down there "ready to fly". Days on the lake were unparalleled and boating across the lake to dinner was a real treat!
Unquestionably better than advertised with wonderful management support to boot, it was a vacation we will not soon forget. We will be back!
