Great Girlfriends Weekend Away

4 of 5
My 5 girlfriends and I stayed here from Friday through Sunday morning in mid-March. Since we live along the East Coast and had planned many reunions in East Coast cities, we decided to plan a weekend away from the city... in a house where we could just enjoy each others company and lounge around cooking and chatting all weekend. The house was great. Its an old historic home with all the charm that normally comes with it. The property is gorgeous on a few acres of land with a small pond and outdoor seating. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend so we stayed inside, but it was still quite cozy! The only complaints from the weekend were that the cooking pans and sheets were not non-stick, so it made cooking a HUGE pain for cleanup. We also did not have access to wifi (it only worked in the kitchen), and the tv only had 4 channels. Not a huge deal since we spent most of the weekend chatting, but we expected to have the ability to connect to wifi. The heat in the master bedroom was also very hot while the kitchen was freezing, but I understand its hard to heat an old house. Lastly, the speakers in the house weren't working - again, not a huge deal (this was also not included in the rental so we did not expect them) but it would have been nice to have as we played music on our iphones the whole time. Overall a great stay!

Family FUN!

5 of 5
My husband and I had 3 kids 10 and under traveling with us. As soon as we walked into the cabin, they were mesmerized! They thought the loft was really cool and couldn't wait to go to sleep that night. The view was serene and spectacular for all of us! The kids enjoyed having so much room to run around. Our first night there must have been 1000 fire flies across the fields that it looked like the moon shining on the ocean! We went to Hershey a few days as well. The drive was easy! The owner was very helpful and easy to get a hold of if anything came up (including us locking ourselves out!). The next time we go to Hershey, we will definitely stay at the cabin!

Homey Experience

5 of 5
WildWoods Inn Hershey Rd provided our family with a comfortable home to share in our 40th anniversary and Easter celebration, along with the joy of having our pets come along. The set up was perfect, allowing the kids to play in the game room with a sliding door that diminished the noise level so adults could also entertain. Also had a large deck and yard for the kids/pets to play. Add the convenience to highways, golfing, and area attractions, our family would not hesitate to rent this home again in the future.
