My 5 girlfriends and I stayed here from Friday through Sunday morning in mid-March. Since we live along the East Coast and had planned many reunions in East Coast cities, we decided to plan a weekend away from the city... in a house where we could just enjoy each others company and lounge around cooking and chatting all weekend. The house was great. Its an old historic home with all the charm that normally comes with it. The property is gorgeous on a few acres of land with a small pond and outdoor seating. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend so we stayed inside, but it was still quite cozy! The only complaints from the weekend were that the cooking pans and sheets were not non-stick, so it made cooking a HUGE pain for cleanup. We also did not have access to wifi (it only worked in the kitchen), and the tv only had 4 channels. Not a huge deal since we spent most of the weekend chatting, but we expected to have the ability to connect to wifi. The heat in the master bedroom was also very hot while the kitchen was freezing, but I understand its hard to heat an old house. Lastly, the speakers in the house weren't working - again, not a huge deal (this was also not included in the rental so we did not expect them) but it would have been nice to have as we played music on our iphones the whole time. Overall a great stay!
