            Relaxing quiet getaway!

            5 of 5
Beautiful, clean, serene studio that I wouldn't mind staying at again!! The owners were great, check in was super easy and they made some great recommendations for where to eat in the area. This is a great place to go to just relax and kick back. We had my 3 year old daughter and she loved all the sights and sounds of the lake and the woods. We did some sight seeing in the area like the Claws N Paws animal park too. The studio has a well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, etc. The bathroom was large and spacious. There is a tv with cable hook and even WIFI available, though I didn't need it because my cell phone(VZW) worked great up there. My daughter didn't want to leave because she said she's going to miss her new friend Mr Ducky, which is actually the resident swan of the lake. Overall, a great time and at a great place!

            A great spot for gathering!

            4 of 5
Our group of friends gathered for a week to rest and relax together. We had one dog, 2 kids, 4 adults, our bicycles and lots of food. This home provided a perfect location to cook, enjoy nature and unwind! The kids loved the game room upstairs with the pool table, TV and assortment of video game systems. We did find a game that they could play rated for everyone on the beautiful TV. The hot tub was nice and hot at 103 and had just been cleaned before we arrived. We enjoyed the towns of Hawley and Honesdale for a change from the biking which we did along the road behind the home and in Hawley to the waterfall. Pros: Beautiful location and home with lots of room for gathering. There were enough pots and pans for our group to make a variety of food. We also enjoyed the grill. Michael was very attentive to problems like low paper products while we were there. Great hiking and biking in the area even for people with restricted ability. Cons: The week lease was actually for 141 hours of the 168 hour week, 7 partial days with 6 nights. Notes for renters: If your group is larger than 6 you might want to bring extra plates and utensils. Also because of the tick problem in PA over the summer, we had to check the dog carefully each time we returned to the house even if she just sat on the back porch so we did not get to enjoy a fire. If you go to Honesdale try the Trackside Grill for interesting pictures of the town and history and Days Bakery! Overall we had a wonderful time!

            Comfortable stay.

            4 of 5
Our family was very happy with this Hawley apartment. It was clean and cozy and centrally located. We could walk to the local diner and enjoy a stroll along the River Trail. Because we were busy visiting with friends and family, we didn't get to enjoy the lovely terrace but will definitely fire up the outdoor grill on our next visit.
