The Ideal Vacation Retreat

5 of 5
When we rented this house the first year, we vowed to spend more time in it the second year-and we did. It is everything the owner, who is very accommodating, describes and more. The views of the river alone on either the main deck, the dock right on the river or from the two bedroom balconies, are bucolic. There is beauty and comfort in every detail of the house from the wood elevator to the spacious kitchen, the roomy bright bedrooms, and the cozy attic. There is plenty of room, intelligently spaced. Every detail, the Tiffany-like wall lights going up the stairs, the two sided fireplace with a pile of wood waiting to warm the night, the bikes for riding the towpath just minutes away, make it a vacation retreat complete. We dined at the expansive dining room table on Saturday night, then did star watching on the deck after a beautiful sunset. You'll be close to many wonderful destinations in Bucks County, but we discovered, as I've said, that the best destination of all was the property itself.

Beautiful Condo in an amazing location of Philly!

5 of 5
We stayed at the condo for a total of 3 nights. Getting the keys and getting in to the condo were a breeze. The place is very clean and has an open, airy feel. Bathroom is well stocked with towels, a hair dryer, and small toiletries. Kitchen is stocked with dishes / utensils and everything needed to make meals. Beds were comfortable. The property is walking distance to the Convention Center, Reading Terminal Market, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and many more. So many restaurants within walking distance, too. Try out the Gaslight right around the corner on Market for an incredible brunch. There is also an old fashioned ice cream parlor called the Franklin Fountain on Market around the corner as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Clean, Bright, Great Location!

5 of 5
Great experience. This was my first time using Homeaway, and I was a little nervous about the whole thing - but Jinni and her husband were very communicative and thorough. I would totally stay here again. The condo was perfectly located in Center City. The condo is in a renovated historic building, and it is clean and safe. Very close to Love Park and City Hall. Public transportation is basically right outside the front door, but if you like to walk like I do, you can see most of the city landmarks on foot. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to make your own meals, plus they even had tea, coffee, and bottled water, which I thought was super thoughtful. I loved the wifi too!
