Amazing place to stay!

5 of 5
We found this place last minute for a bachelor party weekend and it was AWESOME! We couldn't ask for more in a place to stay. All we needed was food and beverages. Everything else was there. Full working kitchen was amazing when cooking for 20+ people. Huge fireplace, plenty of seating, and best of all 120 inch projection screen with surround sound for all the Penn State fans to watch the game! The place was clean, and very well maintained. Ryan, the owner, was amazing as well. He was there for whatever we needed, very accommodating, and really did a great job handling a big rowdy group like ours. While there we took advantage of the place as much as we could and ate all our meals at the lodge. We did go to Peak n Peak ski resort for the Zip Line which was also fun. I would highly recommend the Wilderness Lodge to anyone, especially a big group. It exceeded what i had expected for our group and i was greatfull for the hospitality we received. We have already talked about coming back and bringing the wives/kids/girlfriends. Great place, great people, good times. Joe DIvell

WE loved it!

4 of 5
Adorable little cottage with all the comforts of home. Lots of fishing spots and areas to just enjoy the outdoors. The property itself is fun to walk around and explore the trails. Tim was quick to respond to any questions and was very easy to work with. Perfect area with easy access to downtown Edinboro. Scenic drives and loads of historical and interesting scenery. We are hoping to come back again soon :)

City Family

5 of 5
This was our first trip to Lake Erie as a family - I honestly don't know where to begin because we had such an amazing stay. Lynne was an amazing cottage host -she answered all of our questions immediately (I had a lot of them) and she made suggestions on activities tailored to our family. We had the most beautiful accommodations and scenery - it truly was the serene atmosphere we needed to escape the busy city life! My boys were begging us to stay forever, I wish we could've! Favorite activities: collecting beach glass, painting rocks on the picnic table at sunset, swimming in a creek next to lake, building sandcastles, walking to mazza winery and tasting fabulous wine (the kids tasted sparkling juice!), walking my baby to sleep along the shoreline, a private fishing charter and the best tasting fried fish for dinner that night, and the list goes on! Bottom line - rent from Lynne if you want a five-star feel on a private, rustic beach in the middle of wineries! Thanks Lynne!!!!
