Cozy weekend getaway

5 of 5
Everything about the cabin was amazing! It was immaculately clean and secluded enough to be a perfect getaway. Close proximity to Bushkill falls, which is a must see in the area. We only wish that we had longer to spend here, but we will certainly be back.

Fabulous !!

Great place! Just as advertised. Clean, quiet, abuts the woods and hiking trails. My wife and I spent a few days with our dogs. Good base for days trips: Falls, Steamtown USA, hiking, etc. Saw plenty of turkey, deer and a bear on the road !! Previous comments are all pretty accurate: some light switches don't work or are confusing. The ones that are labeled are fine. Word to the wise - out of three bedrooms, there were only two clothes hangers. If you have clothes that that need to be hung up, bring your own hangers. We met the owner and he was a nice guy. The rental agency did not send us address info or key codes. I had to call them a couple of days before to get the info.

Great times.

Fantastic chateau with all the comforts of home. Very clean and well organized. A little buggy inside but were mostly moths, to be expected though being in the middle of a forest. Tons of wildlife such as deer, bears, flying squirrels, foxes and so much more. Hot tub was excellent and got used a lot. Lots of room to move around inside and out. Bring your own charcoal and a saw to cut your own fire wood for the fire pit. 9 hour drive to get there but was well worth it.
