Nice little gem

4 of 5
Perfect little getaway place - a chance to unplug, unwind and relax. Great location for day trips to the PA Grand Canyon and State Parks; far enough away from the daily grind but close enough to shops for everything you need. Highly recommend stopping in the Genesee Natural Foods store and the Environmental Center for Sunday brunch (food is okay, but such an interesting place!) Also be sure to check out Olga's bistro/café and art shop in Coudersport - the food is superb, the art work is fantastic, plus John and Olga are such wonderful people. Enjoy!

Beautiful Setting!

5 of 5
We found The Lodge when we needed a place for 3 families to meet for a reunion that was reachable for a weekend from our OH, NY, and PA homes. We picked the place from this site and some follow up conversations with the owner, so only knew what had been published. When we got there we were so impressed with how wonderful and well-stocked it was, as well as how nice and accommodating Mark and his family were. We REALLY enjoyed our wekend at the Lodge, and the bonus of Coudersport's Maple Festival being in town that weekend was great too. The Lodge was SO relaxing. Everyone went for a walk on the beautiful property (and there's lots of it to walk on) and we just hung out at the house and enjoyed getting reaquainted. I can't imagine a better place for a quiet getaway. Thanks for everything!
