My niece and I were looking for an escape from the hectic busy "connected" world, and we very much enjoyed our time at the Dancing Crow Cottage. The cottage is decorated beautifully, and it immediately created a warm and homey feeling upon entry. The hosts left a gift of homemade bread, which was a delicious treat for us. We loved the hot tub and its incomparable view over Curwensville Lake. The back porch of the cottage also affords guests the same lovely view when having morning coffee, reading, or just relaxing. A fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom, and other small touches really show your love for this cottage home.
The only suggestions I would make would be to update your photos of the living room area. We were expecting a fold out couch and love seat; currently, the cottage has a futon and a rocking-type chair - both are uncomfortable for lounging. You might even consider cozier furniture for a small cottage with few places for lounging. (Minor issue: Also, the DVD player component does not function properly. It turned the picture black and white, and it was blurry. We didn't want to be "connected" to much technology, but in the rainy weather, we were unable to enjoy a movie.)
Thank you for such a lovely stay. I definitely recommend this cottage to couples looking for a romantic getaway. Both my niece and I said how perfect the cottage would be for couples. It's a little piece of heaven.
