Personally witnessed the resurrection of this historic creek side house just outside of Carlisle, PA. Used this as our base for a graduation, the first renters to take in the charm of this house hosted by the owners. Mark and Mary spared no steps in bringing back the style of most of this old house while making some new upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms and the sunny master bedroom. There is a nice sitting area by the fireplace [used remote]. Laundry area in the up stairs bathroom can be used to extend your stay or do your wash before heading home. Nice patio, barn across the road and a hundred-year-old iron bridge just a short walk away. Bring your canoes and an extra car for a relaxing float trip down the creek, or paddle up stream away and float back home.
Master bedroom is separate from up stairs bedrooms for privacy.
Graduation, Carlisle Events car show, War College attendee, historic tours of Gettysburg, local state parks [Colonel Denning / Pine Grove / Laurel Lake], shopping in Carlisle the reasons to stay here are many!!
