What an amazing trip. I’ve been coming to the Poconos at least a few times a year for many years and this trip has by far been the best experience to date. I came up here for 4 days with my girlfriend and 3 other couples to ski, relax and hang out. I’ve stayed at hotels and rented houses in the past, and was always under the impression that a “three star stay” was the as good as the Poconos could get. This house exceeded all of our expectations. At first I was a bit skeptical about the price as it is defiantly in the high range, but for the service and luxury we got it was well worth it. Ivanka, the owner, was so easy and pleasant to deal with and went out of her way at every step of the way. She personally greeted and checked us in, she really took her time to walk us through the house and let us know how everything worked and all the fun things we could do. She even had a freshly baked tray of home made cookies for us. Everything in the house was immaculate and spotless. I’ve gotten used to staying in places where the owners have let things go, having to deal with smells, dirty carpets, dinged up walls, and poorly working or broken appliances and bathrooms. Not here. If I didn’t know better, I’d think that we where the first people to stay here since the place was fully renovated. She provided us with everything we would need, with a fully equipped kitchen, enough fresh towels for everyone and all the other things you usually have only at home. You would be surprised how often a rental would not have enough toilet paper, mismatched and missing silverware or an empty propane tank. The driveways is huge and all of our cars fit without any issues, we went skiing for 2 of the 4 days, the best mountain around, Camelback, was just a 10 minute drive. There is a huge ski and snowboard rack custom built in the garage so all of our gear was safely stored indoors.
The best word to describe this place is luxurious. I was shocked at the fact that all the bedrooms had memory foam mattresses and down comforters, it was just amazing to lie down after a long day of hitting the slopes. The bathrooms were immaculate and I really loved the multiple shower heads in both baths.
We did make it out to the casino one of the nights, which was great fun, but it was really hard to leave the house. It was just so fun and cozy that none of us wanted to leave. The game rooms, of which there are two have an amazing 8 person solid wood poker table to rival most
