A perfect 3-generation family vacation spot

                                  5 of 5
We were 3 generations with ages ranging from 12 to 89, and this house accommodated every need and interest. The elevator made the entire house accessible to the folks in their 80s. The two teens had a fun hideaway in their spacious loft bedroom. The foosball table was a treat for them. The 8 of us had plenty of room for family activities and for privacy. The gourmet kitchen had ample food prep space and completely stocked pantries and cabinets. No shortage of dishes and flatware, a full complement of knives, pots, pans, baking tins, measuring cups and a blender. The pantry was fully supplied with oils, spices, flour, sugar (granulated and confectioners), tea, vanilla, cinnamon. Plenty of scenic locations for eaing: the kitchen island, the dining room table, the main deck, the screened-in patio, a riverbank deck - each with a gorgeous view of the river. The house afforded wonderful venues for family entertainment. Lots of space for board games. A CD player let us pipe music into the kitchen, living room and deck. The flat screen TV has a DVD player and Netflix access. For the musicians there's a piano, ukelele, bongos, kalimba, tambourine, maracas and scrapers. The house included bicycles and the kayaks and canoes, with life jackets. The nearby canal path is perfect for bike riding. The river offers calm water for watersports. Three of the bedrooms had river views and balconies. The main floor bedroom with its huge walk-in shower was perfect for those with limited mobility. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms luxurious. Plenty of extra towels and pillows. The dishwasher made meal cleanup easy, and, with washing machines and dryers on two different floors, the cleanup before leaving was a cinch. A perfect location. Close to Ringing Rocks Park (and the house had a hammer with which to bang on the ringing rocks.) Less than 45 minutes to Lambertville, New Hope and the Bucks County Playhouse. Near charming Frenchtown. Quaint Milford, NJ, is just a ten-minute walk over the bridge, and it has a small supermarket and a few cafes, restaurants, a health-food store and a bakery. Homestead General Store on the canal in Upper Black Eddy has its own coffee roastery. The owner, Joan, was a pleasure to deal with. She was always available by phone and email to answer any question. If the weather was inclement, we could have spent every day inside without getting bored or feeling confined, the house is so comfortable and expansive.

                                  Fantastic Weekend Getaway

                                  5 of 5
The Tree House-from the fire pit to the bedrooms-was an excellent place to relax and unwind from our hectic lives. The feeling of seclusion in the forest, contrasting with the Tree House's homely atmosphere created a unique experience. The towns and markets nearby had its own charm, too. We had such a nice time that leaving was not easy!

                                  Spectacular River Property

                                  5 of 5
We spent a full month at this wonderful property and were sad to leave at the end. The house far exceeded our expectations in terms of location, view, amenities, beauty and comfort. We enjoyed the modern, well-equipped kitchen, the beautiful master bedroom, the five decks with panoramic river views and the Delaware Canal towpath one step outside the front door. The property is extensive and isolated from all neighbors but close to great parks and recreation. We had many visitors and one commented that she felt like she was on a movie set! Our landlord, Robbie, was responsive and helpful. The house was very convenient to Milford and Frenchtown NJ with lots of shops and good restaurants. The only downsides were the lack of a bathroom on the first floor and the steep stairway. Also, it would have been nice to have bikes available for use on the towpath (we managed to rent them for the month). Overall, our experience was exceptional.
