My stay at the riverfront cabin was relaxing, peaceful and quiet. The location was much easier to find than I initially thought it would be and parking was extremely convenient. Following the wooden walkway to the front door of the cabin, I was greeted by the Lehigh river - a site and sound that provided me peace my entire stay.
The cabin interior was ready for my visit - clean, stocked with wood (and matches) and warm upon arrival.
I relaxed most of my weekend with a few exceptions I made to go hiking. I adventured through parts of Stoddartsville by feet and also took a short drive to visit the Tobyhanna creek which is magnificent with its waterfall.
One of my favorite surprises, and perhaps one of my best memories of my visit, was going to the Tobyhanna in the evening, near sunset, and witnessing an Eagle flying overhead as I sat and took in the water flowing over the falls - majestic.
If you're looking for some time away from it all, you'll find it here.
