What an experience!

5 of 5
This is perfect if you're with the one or ones you love, and you are looking for surreal serenity in a lush tropical setting. Every morning the water off the patio would evoke desires to ice skate more than paddle board as it was ever so glassy. Yet, mischievous us never minded to disturb the mirror still waters by tossing in our kayaks or paddle boards. Our friends the dolphins were playing, and we wanted to say hi. They're most active in the mornings we found. After we cooked lobster tail omelets and ate bananas off our property for breakfast, there was always an excursion available. Snorkeling, jet skiing, beautiful beach combing, chocolate farms to explore, etc. We didn't do everything we could, as some days we were content to lounge in our swimsuits at the house and read and sleep, and kayak and snorkel and etc all day. In the evenings, we enjoyed coming back around sunset and cooking gourmet meals, listening to tunes, and drinking wine while watching the thousands of harmless tiny bats create black specks in front of the beautiful sunset as they race past us out to feast. Many nights, we would enjoy spectacular lightening and thunder storms with our dinner (under a water tight patio roof). There are many fans to keep the place cool. There are comfortable enough furnishings. There are (obvi) beautiful 360's. There is a caring and attentive liaison at the dolphin bay hideaway hotel 3 minutes boat ride away. There is no crime here whatsoever. There are indigenous families rowing past your dock in dugout kayukas every morning and evening. There is a family on the property in case of emergency. Far enough for privacy, but close enough to ensure a feeling of safe well being. If you're down for truly unforgettable, magical experiences, at your own pace and by your own rules, then you will enjoy this. Thank you, Julia, for making such an incredible property, and for allowing us a wondrous week to enjoy it.

Complete Panamanian Beach Experience

5 of 5
I'm originally from Panama but I've been living in Miami, FL for the past 14 years so I was looking for a house with a real Panamanian feel and I hit the jackpot with this house!. I went for 4 nights with my family and friends (husband, 2 boys, mother, ant and 2 friends) and had a wonderful time. The view of the house is just unique!, it looks directly to a local surf spot, the beach called playa Teta so there was activity around us during the day which was lots of fun. The beach is beautiful and you can enjoy it even better when is low tide. The house itself is well maintained, very cozy and relax but with all the necessary commodities like tv cable, wifi, full kitchen and a/c. The property sits on a hill with plenty of space to play around. In the case of my boys they were more than happy to be able to roam around with no trouble. We will definitely be back to this house in the near future. We made great memories in this house.

A very nice new condo w excellent amenities

5 of 5
The Rio Mar condo was great. Brand new, very clean, well stocked, great location with very nice amenities. The 22nd floor balcony was wonderful. I enjoyed just watching the ever changing ocean & beach down below. Rio Mar beach has a lot of character. It is definitely the best beach in Panama for surfing & exploring caves & just enjoying the natural beauty. The owners took excellent care of us. They were always available to answer our questions. They have a very detailed notebook with info about the condo to make your stay more enjoyable. My husband was thankful for the high tech smart tv & dependable internet connection so he could work during the day. The on site restaurant was very good. The pools & public social areas were very relaxing. Rio Mar condo is close enough to the conveniences of Coronado but not too close either. It is very quiet, safe, & beautiful at Rio Mar. It was truly our home away from home. We would love to come back & would recommend this condo to friends & family.
