Great view

The villa is in a great location. The house is well equipped and the owners and manager go out of there way to make sure everything is working. We did have a problem with hot water pressure, but that's life on the beach. Everyone in the villa is friendly and helpful. The pool is kept very clean and there is a great view of the ocean from the pool area. The beach is about a city block away, but worth the walk. We went to the beach in the morning and watched the locals harvest oysters. If you like to meet the locals you can walk to the local beach bar. The first bar is for the partiers, the second smaller is more family oriented. VERY rustic! Sunday nights we would have beef on a stick and a beer for a dollar each!! Relax and watch the kids have a ball in the black sand. (If you prefer high end restraunts, this is not for you). Would definitely stay here again.

Beach House. Great place to stay and relax.

We stayed in this quietly tucked away and charming house for 20 days. It is a beautifully styled Spanish house with lots of hardwood and warm terracotta tiles. The house in laid out comfortably, either for a couple or to share with family or friends. The main level leads right onto a really large terrace with couches and hammocks galore. The upstairs is wrapped in a balcony that runs around two sides of the house. The property is a old Panamanian estate that has large grounds to walk around on and that is covered in fruit trees and lovely views. We had fresh lemons every day and a endless variety of birds to identify. It is only two house away from the beach, and the estate has its own special view of the river meeting the ocean. Abilio, the owner is gracious and very helpful about making sure that you are settled in. There is a caretaker that has his own accommodations who is very friendly and loves to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We loved staying there and would do so again.
