PERFECT EUGENE RENTAL

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here over a weekend in April with some of our friends. We frequently rent homes through VRBO and this was one of our absolute favorites! The home was very comfortable, clean, and accommodating. It is obvious that the owner has put a lot of thought into making her home as welcoming as possible for renters. We loved the layout of the home, and all three couples had plenty of private space. The outdoor space was adorable and unique...a perfect spot for enjoying an evening drink! We especially appreciated the proximity of the home to the Whiteaker district...our group loved being able to walk around to the various breweries and food carts. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

EXHAUSTED FLY-FISHER.... I THINK WE CAUGHT THEM ALL!

5 of 5
Have lost count of how many times we have been here now, this might be the sixth or ?? Will be back in October.. Weather was ok for the full 10 days, only rained for two. We have been staying on the McKenzie for so long now (25+ yrs.) we pretty much know our way around, where to fish etc. River fishing can't be beat anyway except right out front! Other folks in the family knocked back 10-15 ea. day we fished at Leaburg Lake (catch and release). Hard to beat that! Good food, the Traeger came through as always, if you don't know how to use one, learn! Great amount of off street parking as we always bring one truck, one car and one boat. Highway is close, but no road noise once on the property, just the peaceful river. Still have a bit of tendonitis in my right arm, but makes me smile as I sit here and type! We hit up the Vida store (just a half block away) almost everyday for the "things we forget". One of the best parts is we get to bring our little blind Basset Hound! Thanks again Charles and Family..

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE, CLEAN

5 of 5
We stayed at this home for several days while preparing for our daughter's wedding in Eugene. All of the hotels were booked for the NCAA track championships, and we are so delighted that we were forced to look for lodging elsewhere, and ended up staying at the Elkay House. The owners are responsive and kind, the large master bathroom was perfect for getting dolled up as mother of the bride, and there is detailed information about the house that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is large, the kitchen is fabulous, the rooms are comfortable, the flowers were blooming in the yard....it was perfect for us. It was nice to know that Sandy, who lives in a separate building behind the house, was close and available if we needed anything. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
