Peace and quiet while close to plenty of action!

5 of 5
This is our second visit with our family of 18 including an 8 month old baby. We rented both facilities which gave our grandchildren (tweens and teens) a place to themselves. They enjoyed the freedom it provided and could enjoy each other without being around so many "older" folks. The facility has plenty of room for everyone. The entire place was comfortable which made it seem like home. It was very relaxing to tie our boats to our private dock and just float in place, enjoy each others company, have a few drinks, and tell some tall tails. We also took the boats up river and floated back to our dock. Such fun with some nice scenery to boot. There are plenty of activities close by from hiking, lava caves to explore, lakes to fish, white water rafting (a little bit of a drive but well worth the effort) and other things for all ages and abilities. Some of us just totally enjoyed the peace and quiet without going anywhere. We saw eagles, hawks, cranes and many other birds and wild life right there. I would highly recommend this place and am looking forward to a return stay in the future.

Beautiful location

5 of 5
This was one of the nicest houses we have rented with a beautiful view of the river and Mt. Bachelor. The house has adequate space and beds to accommodate the number of guests advertised. The layout is a bit unusual with 2 bedrooms on the lower level down a long hallway but could be an advantage if any guests want more privacy. Easy river access for those interested in kayaking or canoeing from a floating pier platform. Great views from the house deck and deck along the riverfront. If you want easy access to Sunriver but prefer a more isolated quiet location, this would be a good choice. The house was clean and everything (appliances, hot tub, etc.) were in working order. The only minor concern was that there were a lot of decorative knick- knacks on furniture which are a temptation for young children. We put them out of reach during our stay. More room to store food would have been nice too, but these were minor concerns compared to how nice the house was for a large group like ours.

Couldn't have asked for a better family vacation

5 of 5
We come to Bend/Sunriver every summer for our family vacation and reunion. This was our first time at Lucy's and we'll be back! We had such a fun and relaxing time. Our two boys and fun-loving dog would have stayed another week if we could have. Loved the game room, the hot tub, the yard for throwing a ball and you just can't beat the view and access to the Little Deschutes. The boys fished, hunted frogs and crawdads, roasted marshmallows, and we all loved floating the river. And you can't say enough about Nick - from my first call to reserve for the week to his patient answering of my questions while we were there he was kind, patient and totally welcoming. Can't wait for next summer!
