AWESOME property!

5 of 5
We just spent 6 nights here over Spring Break and had such a good time. We have 3 families and we loved how spread out it was with what felt like two separate homes. The kids loved the swimming pool... but they REALLY LOVED the movie theatre (it's over-the-top nice). We spent hours playing bumper pool too, which as a lot of fun, especially with the beautiful view. The decks were really great too. Highly recommend this property!

Ideal Location, Awesome House, Beautiful Private Setting!

5 of 5
We stayed here for four nights in the fall, which is a quiet season in Sunriver, and had a fantastic time. The house was laid out nicely for our three families and offered everything we needed. We used the bikes to ride all around the resort, made some great family meals, enjoyed the fireplaces, and relaxed in the hot tub. When the kids disappeared to play Monopoly or watch a movie, the adults sat around the kitchen table with a bottle of wine and a good puzzle. We don't need to stay anywhere else now that we've found this house! Loved it, and highly recommend it!

Truly a Little Corner of Heaven on Earth!

5 of 5
We live and work in the increasingly crazy SF Bay Area and wanted (and NEEDED) some deep relaxation for Christmas week. We also wanted SNOW... and NEEDED a place where our furry "boys" could be with us - we can't always give them all the attention they deserve. We had been through the Bend area 18 months ago and saw all of the signs along the way for snowmobiling. We also knew the reputation that Central Oregon enjoys for outdoor recreation and splendor. So, we were ecstatic when we found Lucy's on VRBO! It answered all of our wants and needs. When we contacted Nick about timing, the only thing he couldn't guarantee was the snow. Imagine that :-) Before we left, the forecasts for La Pine had been dicey for days and we drove through rain most of the way up. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon before Christmas, our boys started whistling and whining before we even turned into the driveway! They already knew Lucy's was something VERY SPECIAL. We walked in the door and were immediately blown away by the warmth and hospitality that the place exudes. Lucy's is set up comfortably and is arranged on the property so it felt as though we were sitting right on the Little Deschutes River. Add to that, Nick and Debbie had left us a Christmas box for us with some regional goodies and a stocking for the boys with a couple of toys, which were a tremendous hit. We knew we had hit the jackpot! The amenities at Lucy's are great. Everything works well and property is kept up nicely. There are a half dozen bird feeders that keep a wide variety of birds (including quail, blue jays, dove, chickadees, and flickers) and one industrious squirrel busy from dawn to dusk. On top of this, we saw a family of otters and a very wet juvenile bald eagle, all right out the wall-to-wall back windows. But, the real deal is outside. The next day, we took a short drive up to Mt. Bachelor for a great afternoon of snowmobiling. In spite of Nick's caution about snow, it arrived on Christmas Eve and we had a nice cover Christmas morning. It was magical all around. We left feeling very relaxed and happy for the opportunity we had to spend 5 nights in a little corner of "Heaven on Earth". Like so many others who put their thoughts down here and in the guest book at Lucy's, we plan to be back! Bob & Connee, San Jose, California
